My boyfriend keeps calling me a midget.. should I be pissed?

firstly
me and my boyfriend been dating for over a year
my height - 5ft1
his height - 6ft4
apparently all his other exes were taller than me so im the shortest girl he's been with (not all of them was tall but they were taller than me like his previous one would prob be 5ft4 and his other one would probably be 5ft10 or something)
so anyway he keeps calling me a midget
he would joke around with me and saying "aw you're a midget"
and i said "f off.. im not that short. I've seen way shorter girls"
and he goes "its alright.. its cute. you're cute. i like short girls"
and i said "your exes are taller than me"
and he goes "yea i dont like tall girls. i like short girls. theyre cute. like you. with tiny legs"
and he starts laughing.
wtf?
am i supposed to be offended?
does he not find me attractive?
why would he be with me if all his exes were taller than me? wouldn't he find someone around his height or something? since he's calling me midget -_-

honestly, some of the teasing is just part of the relationship... if it's teasing, leave it alone if you can, if he starts doing it with the intent to be hurtful, but it sounds to me like he's just teasing you a little bit... and really, that's a sign of affection, not disrespect

well, what I meant to say was to me its not a problem until he intends it to be hurtful... I don't think your guy is (and neither does mine)... some teasing is a sign of affection... when he does that, just get a little cozy with him

same situation for me, but face it, when you are 5'1" pretty much everyone is going to be taller than you... if you are questioning yourself, there is no answer he can give that will make you feel better for longer than a few minutes. When he reminds you that you're short, remind him that the only reason you are going out with him is that he's better at throwing you shade on a hot sunny day than someone who is 5'8" and that regardless of his flawed personality you'll put up with it because you need him to get shit off the top shelves and you don't like having to move the foot stool around... it works both ways, you don't have to just sit there and take it, give him a little shit too
