I don't like it when others judge what I wear. But the thing is,
YOU HAVE TO DRESS ACCORDING TO THE OCCASION.
My parents don't say anything to me and how I dress but I have enough sense to know that I am not going to wear a crop top at a formal lunch and I am not going to wear a bodycon dress at McDonalds.

And no matter how much we deny it, clothes get you attention. Come one, don't girls look at guys when they go around shirtless. Its the same thing.

That is a fair bit of skin to be showing, it's great that you feel comfortable with that though, I could never do that. My recommendation though would maybe be to try high waisted pants, you'd still be showing skin but you'd be more covered up and it looks cute. Your dad is just trying to keep you safe, he could go about it in a more gentle way but he's just trying to help you

My dad used to be the same way when I was a teen. Your shirt just looks like something you'd wear to go to a party or club. And not really a casual type of shirt. So maybe that's why your dad said that. And fathers usually don't want their daughters walking around showing too much skin lol

Lol true. Well most crop tops look slutty to me. Especially the super short ones that are right under a girl's boobs. But nowadays, it is all about "let girls wear whatever the fuck they want" no matter their size and age lol so I try not to use the word slutty to trigger those type of people.

Try to think, how you treat your parents now (I'm assuming you are high school age) will affect how they think of you and what kind of relationship you have with them and how close of a family you will be later in life once you move out as an adult too.

If you don't seem to care about his wishes now, he won't be inclined to make much of an effort to have a good relationship with you the rest of your life once you are an adult.
It is much better if you can have a good relationship with your parents.
