People in this world long for someone to shower them with all the affection and love they could have ever imagined. Love is like a beautiful gift everyone wishes for. As much as falling in love is appealing, it can be intimidating for many others. Such type of unreasonable fear and anxiety that one would fall in love is known as Philophobia.
A philophobic person is extremely conscious to form any sort of loving attachment with anyone, and avoids any bonding. A philophobic person tries all possible ways to avoid forming any emotional attachment even if he/she has feelings within. This can be a serious problem when the phobia leads them to lead an isolated life.
In severe cases, medicines can also be useful to control the distress in a person. Commonly used medicines are anti-depressant medicines to control the sad and hopeless feelings in a person.
The problem is that a person with philophobia cannot avoid these nervous feelings when they are faced with the person that they are attracted to: dizziness, vomiting, nausea, shaking, panic attacks, and a desire to flee are some of the most common manifestations, depending, of course, on the person. The thought of these manifestations makes the person want nothing more than to get rid of the situation as soon as possible, which is why the philophobe refuses to live one of the most gratifying experiences that a person can have: falling in love and experiencing love.

Yeah. My girl does. There is nothing stopping us from being in a relationship. But she is scared shitless of getting emotional attached after her dad died. So I don't blame her but. It happens to a lot of people. Even I was at one point in life.
As soon as you start getting close to someone, suddenly this unwarranted, unwanted fear starts to kick in so you start to push them away. You know it’s not going to kill you but it’s just like a fear of spiders— you can’t help it and your anxiety and fear just increase ten-fold. So you never let anyone get too close to you. You feel terrible for the other person that you’ve pushed away or let “naturally drift apart”, and you feel insanely lonely. I’ve tried explaining why I’ve “pushed them away” or why i️ don’t want to be in a serious relationship ever to some people but they rarely understand which just makes me feel like i’m crazy. People understand an unwarranted fear of spiders— they don’t understand this tho.
The scary part is when you realize you fell in love with that person and they don't love you the way you love them the scary part is on you realize you falling in love with that person and they don't love you the way you love them they come over every now and then and the sex is phenomenal and they love you but not the way you love them and you try but it doesn't really work when you go with somebody else and your hearts in love with the other person
Someone at your age cannot face this kind of phobia unless something ordeal happened or perhaps you have a condition that prohibits you from falling in love. Falling/liking should just come natural. Are you philophobic?

Which is a very common thing when talking about teenagers. But the secret is, if you close yourself to the world/love, nothing is coming to you. Being isolated and depressed while silenty asking for help never got anyone. anywhere really.
