I'm 36, she's 25...what should I do?

I have a dilemma...I like her and she likes me...she's been very aggressive and wants to date but I am 11 yrs. older than her...mentally, physically, I am much younger than 36 (I act and look like I'm her age) and that's partly why younger girls seem to get attracted to me but still...the age, will it matter? Should I let her go or try to make it work?

Guys are generally more immature then women anyway. It's kinda like dog years... the physical age isn't the same as the 'actual' age. ;)

But even getting away from the immaturity of males, and back to the age question... it's a tough call. Depends on the person and how the both of you click. Physical age really means very little in this day and age anymore.. it's experiences that mold and age a person now a days.

Numbers are just that. Don't pay any attention to them, your heart wont.

I like the dog years analogy, very true! She is more mature than me, that's for sure. I like what you said about the heart...the heart doesn't care about age, so maybe the mind should just back off and let the heart do it's thing...

Sure!10 years difference is perfect!I am 24 and I only date guys older than 30.Works out perfectly.Plus being 25 is not being 17...25 years old girl is a grown up girl not a teen.You should have no doubts and go for it.I like guys who are 35,more mature then guys my age,more experienced.Good luck.

I am 46.. as long as you both know what you want why does it matter? Age doesn't matter.. unless she wants things you can't give her... life is too short enjoy it.. who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Tha'ts a whole generation's difference at your age...I'd let her go! you're too far apart, you won't communicate, your friends on both sides will be against it.

This is my fear, marty...i can communicate with her, we get along great but I just don't know what her/my friends would think about this...

That is not too far apart. It sounds like my sister's relationship and that has been going great for a few years now.

I can't speak for his side of the family, I have never met them. But everyone in my family thinks her boyfriend is a great guy.
