I'm too weak to break up with my girlfriend and she knows it. Should I just cheat?

My girlfriend and I had a huge fight due to confusion. I broke up with her 3 times in 1 week and then asked for her back because I had a horrible gut wrenching pain from the break up and simply could not function for weeks. I couldn't hardly eat, sleep, or focus on my job.

But now that we're back together, she is cold. Colder than ever before. Even though she took me back, she is almost emotionless and doesn't care. My birthday was the other day and I spent it with friends, she was at work "Busy". I smile, and let it slide, but on my part time, I'm quickly looking for new women to date and feel attached to. And I'm sure she's thinking the same. If I can't break up with her, then I have to cheat.

Because within just 1 week when we broke up before, I proved to her how weak I was, how lonely I was, and how clingy I was. She knows all my weaknesses and she doesn't know what to do about it. She knows I am incredibly emotionally insecure after months of showing her that I had everything together. She even tried to win me over in the beginning because she assumed I was so amazing and had such a social life when really, I didn't. I blew my cover in just a week.

Hm cheating will make you feel worst than when your first broke up with her. You need to write down the pros and cons of being in that current relationship and if there are more cons than pros you should find that as another reason to break up with her. If you're not happy you're jot being fair to her or yourself when you both could be with someone who is better fit for you. Cheating is a choice, if you cheat says more about you than her. It will affect you later on and her as well. Its better if a relationship ends on knowing you did everything but it just didn't work out than someone betraying someones trust and cheating. Think very well of what you are going to do.

I'm the exact same way when I am upset, usually insecure, it's like you can't even connect to your emotions cause they're too extreme. Honestly by the sounds of it, if you guys are both looking outside of your relationship, just end it now. don't cheat, because it hurts so bad, and your self-worth goes down like crazy (talking about her). The only thing I can suggest is a serious heart to heart, where both of you open up and lay all your thoughts and feelings out on the table. It may get messy but if you can work through it, then you may be able to find solutions for your relationship together. But if she hasn’t been willing to talk, then there may not be much you can do. Try approaching the conversation in a calm, tactful, non-accusatory way.
