How to get rid of my trust issues? How do I overcome them?

My first relationship was a disaster. I was with my ex boyfriend for 6 months and he ended up cheating on me. After that, its hard for me to trust a guy
Then my second relationship ended because of my trust issues. It was recent (2 weeks ago). My ex boyfriend broke up with me coz i couldnt trust him even tho he tried his best to save our relationship and wanted me to trust him. I kept thinking he wants other girls and he's going to cheat on me. He has never cheated on me and we have been together for more than 1 year. He was always there for me and always make sure that I know he loves me.
I feel like a fool 😔😔 I lost a great and loyal guy
How do I overcome my trust issues?
I dont want it to ruin my next relationship

You have already taken the first and most important step. Trust is something you have to give an is a measure of your confidence. To a large degree, if you can learn to overcome your fears, you will gain that confidence and find trusting much easier

It's not easy but it comes with time. Let him know how you feel and find ways to reassure yourself or that he can reassure you without being annoying haha.
Sounds like you might not have lost him completely. Just tell him how you're feeling. Communicate everything. If there's no secrets then there's nothing to distrust!
