What would the female version of “nice guy” be?

I think that the female version of te nice guy is the kind of woman who thinks that she can't find a man because she intimidates them. This isn't usually true, just like nice guys they like to place the blame for their own failures on the opposite sex and claim that it's actually because of a positive quality that they can't find one rather than a negative one because that makes them feel better about the situation. It also means that they don't have to be honest with themselves.

Nice guys: "women don't like me because I'm a nice guy"
These women: "men don't like me because I'm successful"

The reality:
Nice guys: boring, wimpy, not physically attractive, overly needy, no backbone, can come across as fake because they might act overly nice just to get something (sex) out of the girl
These women: usually have an annoying personality, not physically attractive, think too highly of themselves for no reason

On the choices of the opposite sex:
Nice guys: "women go for bad boys an jerks because they're idiots, an they only go for men with lots of money because they're gold digging whores"
These women: "men go for girls who are less successful because they're insecure, they can't handle a 'strong independent' woman like me, they go for younger girls because they're easier to control, they go for traditional girls because they want them to Mother them and they need to grow up etc."

It's the same thing. Both aren't as attractive as they think they are, make excuses as to why they themselves aren't to blame for their lack of success, blame the opposite sex, and pretend that they're perfect and that eve body else it wrong.

I'm not sure what we should call such women.

I'd go with "good girl", because people say that with about the same frequency as they say "nice guy".

If she's "good" rather than actually good (in the same way as a guy is "nice") then it's only on the surface.
She might have it easier to find a partner than the guy equivalent, but any man is really unlucky to have her.
She's behaving well only because she's hopelessly unassertive, but resents the shit out of everyone in secret, often because she somehow expected them to mind read what she wants and feels at any given turn.

So she's in absolute denial over the fact that she should really just have the guts to affirm herself and say stuff out loud.

Something like that. :)

An insecure girl, prone to manipulation, believes that everything she does is payment upfront for reciprocation. If she makes you a sandwich and you don't offer to marry her in return then you're a selfish bastard and she's a saint. Wouldn't know a selfless good deed if it smashed her in the face.
