What do you think of a "nice" girl?

Many girls say that they want a guy who's nice, though most guys would disagree, but what do guys think of a girl who's nice? [also assuming that you're already physically attracted to her.]

I'm asking because I've been told that I'm "nice" a lot by guys, along with cute/pretty. Also if you're a girl then feel free to vote for what you think guys think about it.

Of course it's good to be nice, but a lot of people are JUST nice without any depth or intrigue. You need to make sure it's not 'she's nice and boring' and that a guy is going to get excited to spend time with you or get to know you.

Obviously I don't know you, but... A lot of people wonder why they don't get the attention of the opposite gender because 'I'm a nice guy/girl!' but it's really important to let people know there's more depth to your personality than that, and equally as important to not be a doormat because based on all the girls I've ever been into... Way too boring if they hand everything to you. You've gotta feel like it was earned!

I've sometimes been the people-pleasing, don't-want-to-offend-anyone, boring nice girl...but now I'm at least trying to be the more exciting, fun nice girl.

Yup that's definitely a good change to make. 'People-pleasing and 'don't-want-to-offend-anyone' will keep people from having a bad opinion of you, but it's not going to make anybody want to find out more. I hope the change works out for you, just make sure you stay true to yourself with it. Maybe you just need to be a bit more outspoken if you're not already?

Oh, another thing. I hope you're not taking the cute and pretty comments as things that mean you're not girlfriend material. I use them all the time! Different people have different ways of expressing things so it can be hard to tell their intent.

and I got it that guys telling me that I'm cute or pretty could mean that they would like to go out with me too, not just hook up with me. though I've sometimes wondered if I'm too nice - and possibly boring - for many guys to want an actual relationship with me. but now I've realized that many times it's the guys who don't want a real relationship at the time at all and it has/had almost nothing to do with me...and I've been getting out my shell and becoming more confident now more.

I want to be with a nice girl because they will make for the best relationships. They're faithful, caring, and have good morals and know how to treat people. But strength and confidence are also important. In other words, a girl shouldn't be so nice she won't speak her opinion for fear of offending someone or saying the wrong thing, or be so nice she tries to please everyone (that shows insecurity) But a girl who is nice (kind hearted) and confident is very appealing.

I think guys want a nice girl, they are easy to be around and your able to talk to them about anything. VS a girl who is more concerned with herself and her problems, the odds the guy will get attention is much more slim. That's just my take on it. Every guy is diffrent and so are the levels of nice.

guys like nice girls because they make nice wifies. girls who don't look "nice" guys usually translate towards meaning they're easy or something and aren't into that. nice girls usually always have boyfriends..

Thanks for your resopnse. Kindness and friendliness arealways very important. Morality doesn't mean the same thing to everybody, but if it involves a consideration for the needs of others and an effort to help those in need, it's a very good thing. Sadly, for many, morals are all about bigotry, intolerance and smug self-importance; I think those are bad things.

I definitely prefer a nice girl. I consider myself a nice guy and I can't stand drama. A nice girl who isn't a push over would be ideal. I'd much rather spend my time with a sweet girl than one with some kind of miss thing attitude.

i think in the long run, youd want a nice girl, but sometimes you just need a "bit of an attitude" just to spicen it up a bit. I heard once that if you were always with the nice guy/girl, thatd it get boring and such becauseits like they have no sense of what being a man/woman is really about
