I'm 17 and never had a girlfriend before. Is that normal?

I have very few friends and none of them are girls. I'm really lonely and need help lol. I'm fairly self confident so I don't think that's the issue, any thoughts?

You could be any age and have zero dating experience.

Everyone have different priorities in life. And a lot of times, we as teenagers get into relationship because that is what "everyone is doing". Its really a personal thing. If you want a girlfriend, then it will happen when it happens- given you put in a little effort too.

I am 18 and I haven't ever had a single boy friend. I turn down everyone who asks me out because its not what I want right now. No one judges me for that adn even if they did, who gives a shit, right?

I’m sorry you feel that way. Don’t worry about it being normal though. I don’t think there is a “normal” when it come to dating. Just focus on bettering yourself and your friendships-I’ve had to do this myself. Things will fall into place when they’re meant to be.

Regardless of whether or not it is "normal," don't get too caught up in what other people are doing. Don't get a girlfriend just because you want to fit in.

Dude!!! Perfectly normal, I didn't get my first girlfriend until 20! You have time, and hope! Live life, be single, get to know YOURSELF more before you go MORE into that field! Totally normal. There are things way worse than loneliness. Having a kid at 17 is one of them. I'm sure you'll find a quality girl in time. Just make sure you are working to make yourself the best you can be so when she arrives, you will be worthy.
