Certain people get turned on more from doing something they shouldn't, when we lie or think of betraying someone our heartbeat gets faster, and there's nothing people can do about it. But people look for what they don't have always, or become curious if they've been lonely or not with many partners, society pushes us to get sexual validation because there's always something we can never reach, unless we devote our lives to sex and looking good, which most adults don't have time or can't build a career off of that, so the next best thing is multiple partners, and people are legit torn about how much they love you vs that sub-concious validation they'd be getting. So they either cheat and come clean, cheat and lie, or leave you.

What I'm about to say may take some time to get to, you have to let yourself feel hurt if you feel hurt, because trying to do the opposite will leave you jaded, too jaded to meet anyone who wouldn't do that to you, someone better, you are justified for what you feel, but don't let it shape you. but keep telling yourself, that you know yourself and please explore yourself, go see other people (you need to regain your confidence) there are a lot of small remedies you have to do to get over this , this is the best way to start (Again, explore yourself logically, and get to know yourself better, and see other people to give that validation to yourself.)

Be with friends, or read a good book. Don't give yourself time to do a lot of moping around. It hurts, but you will get over it, and have fun again.

Nope. I am not going to lie, the grass doesn't always feel greener on the other side. You have to realize that no matter how much you felt you and your ex connected and loved each other, he was probably never deserving of you. Being single sucks at first, but when you take in the freedom, it is breathtaking. That's when the right, worthy person will come along and sweep you off your feet. No, he didn’t. I think it was because I talked smack about him after he did all that. But since we go to the same church, we still pass each other. I caught him staring at me a lot of times—even after getting married. His sister in law mentioned before how he liked both me and the other girl.
