My girlfriend doesn't let me have any alone time, and doesn't let me pursue my hobbies?

I thoroughly enjoy my hobbies, most of them are engineering or programming related. I spend time working on them sometimes in my free time, as they are things I enjoy and can help relieve my stress.

She says I don't love her if I don't spend enough time with her, or if I spend time apart from her by choice. I do love her of course (although I am beggining to question that recently) but I'm just having a lot of issues with what I do. I am used to alone time, before being with her I spent almost all of my time alone, working on stuff and doing whatever. I do spend a large amount of time with her though, 4 or 5 hours a day usually. Then we text all night and facetime.

Im honestly just feeling a bit shitty, there's so many things I want to do to enhance my own skills and career and so much stuff I enjoy that I simply can't enjoy anymore, as I fear her getting mad at me or something. Arguments about stuff like this are constantly coming up, and they always seem to be the same. "You went to do this because you don't love me, you were gone for an hour!". One of the most annoying things is, I tell her i'm gonna do something and i'll be back in (insert length here (never really longer than an hour)) yet she'll still text me and get angry at me when I can't reply, even if im in class or doing work or something.

I'm losing all my will to live honestly, most of the things I enjoy I can't anymore.
She gets jealous of my step-sisters, when I go to stay with my father, they are usually at his house. She always asks me "are your step sisters there", and i'll say "yes" to which she replies "oh.. ok". And i'm like what. I've literally being avoiding spending time with my father (who is kinda ill and might be having surgery soon) because I'm so terrified of getting her angry or upset. She can literally make my life a living hell. I want to leave, I don't want to leave, I don't know what to do or how to escape without her basically ruining my life.

On the other hand you need to get past this “losing will to live crap”. Shut your mouth and go do something about it.

You spend plenty of time with her.
Enough is enough , put your foot down and tell her how it’s gonna be.
We each have our own individual pursuits. Yours are beneficial and worthwhile and will benefit not you and her in the long run.
Then tell her you are unable to live long term like she has required, that you are telling her this because you love her and you want the relationship to work and not fail like she is driving it.

Don’t back down. Be firm and polite. And be willing to end the relationship if you must.

You should remember, that YOU sre important in your live. And if you feel so much discomfort with anyone, then you should avoid them.
Believe, there is a lot of people in the world, no need to ruined all your life because of the one person.
And I truly believe, that person like she, with this kind of control will never stop. And it will never be enough control for her.
Just think so, don't know the all parts. Be brave. Your family also important, much more than a random girl, "that you meet on the street". Good luck

We all have to have time to our selves! But I do admit some people abuse that when they become in a relationship! How long have you 2 been dateing? She seems as if she is trying to control you a little! She is trying to get you to feel bad for no reason at all it seems like. Even couples that live with each other spend time apart does she know that! Are hobbies don't go away just because we are in relationships she knows that!

Break up with her dude. She is clingy and it is probably only going to get worse because you are going to, without thinking about it, start pushing her away which she will realize and freak out over.
