She says she doesn't want to rush into a relationship?

She says she doesn't want to rush into a relationship like last time.

What do I do? This is a common way of saying no to someone, I know. But the thing that I don't understand is, after she said this, she asked if I was available to hang out with her this weekend, so it wasn't a complete rejection.

May have just gotten friend zoned.

She said that the last guy that she dated was a complete douche bag to her, and I do know that he was because I know what they were like when they were dating. She says she doesn't want to go through all of that again and wants a little bit more time before she does anything.

What do you guys think? Think this is real and she really does want more time or is she just saying no to me without being harsh.

well I'm not a guy but I said the same exact thing to my now boyfriend... I was in a bad relationship and wasent ready but he kept trying dident push the subject and actually did some wooing and now were about to celebrate our one year anniversary

Too hard to judge. I'd say go forward and see what happens. Don't get your hopes up too high on this going anywhere, that way you won't be too disappointed if nothing happens.
