Trending & News I don't consider anyone "too good" for me. If they choose me then I accept that and will love them to the best of my ability. Now are there instances in which I think a partner may deserve better than me? Yes. But that's not because I think they're too good for me, rather we aren't good for each other. Some people who genuinely love each other simply don't have compatible personalities or life goals. If you love someone but you find that an intimate relationship does more harm than good for the two of you then I think the loving thing is to break up as peacefully as possible, recognizing that it's harmful to the two of you. It's not a matter of simply not loving enough. I don't think there's such thing as being "too good" for someone. There's only "being good for someone" or "being bad for someone." I suppose there may be a grey area in which both parties have an okay relationship with each other but it never serves to build the other person up. At that point I think it's a choice to stay or leave but I generally think we ought to strive to have relationships in which both parties make the other person better.
There were those I got with and soon after realized that I would be the worst thing in their lives. I didn't even feel sorry for myself - like I knew that I could keep them but I knew they were really destined for someone else more fitting.
Yes. Because he wanted something honest and slow and I was young and wanted attention is going to clubs, dancing, flirt with new hot people. I broke it off pretty early and we didn't talk for a while, but I never treated him badly and we've remained friends that hang out platonically here and there as we have similar hobbies. he knows that I'm not ready to settle and he knows I'd be a mess to get involved with so that's why can be friends.
Iโm not a stunning natural beauty so if I saw some guy who looked like should be on the cover of menโs health mag I wouldnโt even bother looking his way so never been rejected - i aim within my range and have never rejected someone. I consider myself an all round good person so I am more likely to reject them for something I didnโt like.

Not in my opinion, but that is subjective i guess.
No way would I do that. I'd pursue her instead.
Actually yes. One of my girl friends is probably a 10/10 in hotness and 9/10 in crazy fun attitude. On my side I got a gypsy soul and would never be able to stay around too long for anyone no matter what it seems. I can't connect with most people according to my mom evertime she gently closes the door when I knock since I was 16. So now I try to read and watch movies on how to be a OK person
I'm an optimist. If given the opportunity, I always think I can make it work. I've been very wrong about that. If it's just physical, that she is too hot for me, I still want to give it a shot. It probably won't last, but it's fun while it does. I was with a girl who had a beautiful face and "perfect" body once in my early 20s. It lasted much longer than it should have. She knew she could manipulate me easily and get what she wanted. She was often cruel. I've learned bettet, since.
I think I have self destructive tendencies. So, yes, I think a large reason for why I pushed away my ex boyfriend so much was because everything felt so healthy and right. I think I should work on myself more to better control my bad impulses.
If you think they're worth more than you can provide, take that as a challenge, provide what you can (within reason) and if its not enough, its not enough.
"You miss every shot you don't take"-Michael Jordan I think
Wayne Gretzky but agree lol
Lmao no-one is too good for you. You are amazing and you deserve everything in life. If someone shows interest in you or asks you out he/she probably thinks you're good enough. You have to be confident, in fact, YOU are too good for them
No. No guy is ever too perfect. No girl can ever be too perfect.
That is why they approach you in the first place. They were probably looking for something that they were missing which happens to be the person who 'isn't good enough' in other peoples eyes..
You would have to be emotionally damage to turn down someone who has too many good qualities. No I would never turn someone down that would make me feel lucky to have unless being with them made me miserable.
Nope. I've rejected men because I wasn't that into them. They simply didn't appeal to me for whatever reason. Being "good enough" had nothing to do with it.
Once, a lonnnng time ago.
When I think of it now I was just scared and insecure at the time. Even though, we wouldn't try again. We left on good terms. I still think about him though.
There is o such thing like "too good" if you think somebody is too good for you there is something wrong with you, with your self esteem...
No, never. I've rejected really great guys because I wasn't attracted to them. But if I wanted them there would be no reason to reject them.
I'd say someone is too good for me because I can be really annoying and sometimes harsh by accident so I wouldn't want to bring them down
Yeah. I am usually pretty good at seeing when a realtionship is bound to fail so I quit while I still have my dignity intact. Trying to hold on to someone that is obviously way out of your league is usually a waste of time.
i think everyone is too good for me. i have a lot insecurity issues.
Never think like that because we are what we think of ourselves. And everyone has insecurities so just find a way to deal with them. ๐
I've been rejected because I was too good for him. At that time I didn't believe it. But I can see his point now. He's really fucked up person sooo...
I got rejected for being "too perfect" it still confuses me to this day. 🤔
I haven't, but two guys actually did that to me.. no idea what the hell that means haha
Yeah, but only 'cause I expected them to reject me after they got to know me better anyway.
I've never met anyone I thought was too good for me
Never! Only emotionally broken people do stupid shit like that.
See, she was way better to me than my girlfriend at the time. So i count it as that. Then, I found out she's a slutty asshole so I doged a bullet there
You are taking the wrong sort of attitude here - never, ever tell yourself that someone is too good for you. If someone loves you, they clearly deem you good enough for them.
I was taught self worth. Never degrade myself as feeling I'm not being as good as someone else
If that belief were ever true, No man would ever meet the girl he was worthy of, you girls bring out the very best inside Us
Considering that I have always been the one turned down
No, no girl that looks like "that" has ever approached me. 😞
NOBODY is to good for me.. they might not be good enough for me, but certainly not too good...
Ngl if someone did that to me- unlikely as it is, id end myself 😂😂😂
I had an ex-fiancee who was too good for me,... then she broke up with me.
I dont think I've ever said no to someone who asked me out.
Nope and I wouldn't (if we talk about personality).
Honestly just to know when your with that women and knowing u doing more damge being with her then with out her is when u have to reject them
Yes. A popular kid in my old skl liked me but I rejected him cuz I hardly know him and I hate his personality which is arrogant
I haven't, but women do that all the time, because they only care about what a guy looks like
I simply felt that I could not provide them with as grand a life as I felt they deserved.
I've never rejected anyone. I've also never had a date.
Yeah
Turns out he wasn't
No, only drifted apart.
Yes, because I felt like they just feel bad for me and that I won't satisfy them
I donโt believe in someone being โtoo good for meโ
Never; would meet one first 😂
If he chose me, I'd be the best of me for him.
I was rejected once for being too good for him.
Never been approached! 😂 😂 😂
I don't mess with people that are good, so no
Only due to distance.
Only on tinder if the account looks like a fake
Yes, it's all because of my ego.
I run away before they can even talk to me
Thought she was from a better background.
Things were been taken for granted
Yes cause I was walking all over her.
If they want me then they're not too good for me.
The answer is NO.
Yes and she turned out to be crazy
No. Why would I do that?
Doesn't found anyone who is too good for me
Because perfect for u
