Has someone ever been so in love or infatuated with you that they basically worship you, and/or have you ever been so in love or infatuated with someone else that you basically worshipped them? I'm not talking about religion. I'm talking about human beings.

I'd say it's both. My and my boyfriend are atheist but we are into the concept that everyone is "God." Not in a kingly sense but in the sense that everyone and everything is part of one fundamental process. For example, if the big bang were real we'd all and everything around us would be part of that process constantly expanding and being developed in various ways.

Anyway, outside of that we just think it's cool to play with that idea so we say to one another "You're my god/goddess," and etc. And sort of worship each other with things that way. It's all fun and games though, we never take it too seriously.

There was my senior in college who had these feelings for me. No matter how much I ignored him, he never stopped loving me and trust me doing that the whole duration of college and even till he got married is a long time. He got my number from somewhere, kept following me everywhere , kept proclaiming he loved me and he could do anything for me till college ended. However, I did not see being with him so I never let him come close in the first place coz I was always kinda a one man woman.
