+1 yit all depends on how you try to make us feel better. if we're mad and then you treat us like "fine be that way" and blow us off we're not going to come running back to you. if you really value a girl then you have to show it. apologize, especialy if you'e in the wrong. if she seriously wants to be left alone then leave her for one or two days then come in and check on her saying "i wanted to see if you were okay" but give her space. after you let her know you're genuineley sorry and give her opurotunites to take you back (without forcing your way!) then the rest is up to her. it really depends on the girl though. I usually can't hold a grudge for the life of me. but if a guy was pretending to like a girl and then he didn't really, then first she would cry and vent to all her friends who would emediateley take her side. then she would convince her self, and her friends would convince her that you are much lower than her and that she deserves better. and she would go out looking for fresh meat. but she would always know in the back of her mind how you treated her and she would be wary of future situations like that. so if you messed up you better apologize while you can.

It depends on age and situation. Some women just forget about it and move on and some others just stay mad for ever. Even if they say you are forgiven, you arent. But it really depends on what the man has said and done, In my case, I just cut my loses and quit talking to him. He wanted to be friends and talk to me but every conversation went round the same topic like "what happened then and how I felt". He never got to sleep with me you see and he desperately wanted the validation that he "meant something for me". I realized that he was still using the "friends card" to get into my good books and wasn't interested in me as a human being so he stopped existing for me pretty much. And once a woman decides 100% that you are a scum bag she will never give you the time of day again. Its simply not worth her time. She might possibly be civil if she runs into you and she can't avoid it but she won't believe a word you say even if you are honest.

+1 yHmm... it all depends on who you played her with. If its someone she knows and doesn't like, and you know she doesn't like them she's going to be more hurt than mad an really furious with you. It really hurts a girl when guys cheat, so it normally depends on the person... but don't call her... give her space and time to think it through.. mabye a week...a little more...

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI told my good friend I love her after a hug. Then she ignored me for almost a week until I made her some guac and asked if we could talk. We sat down and I apologized for making her feel weird. She appreciates the apology but needs space , which I respect. it's been a few days since I apologized. How long will she remain upset?

Ahaha I love this question. Don't be reactive to their anger, just act cool, sometimes they get angry in an attempt to control you, don't be a pushover!

+1 yIt depends on what I am mad about.
I am usually patient and I rarely get mad but when I do yes, I hold grudges for a really long time.
Most of the times I don't even give the chance for the other person to earn my respect again.Once it's lost, it's over.113 Reply- +1 y
let's say you got played, really really bad...as in you thought you loved him but he hit it and quit it
- +1 y
I forget about his existence and I never trust him again.Yeah I know it may be harsh but that's how I react when I feel disrespected, betrayed, mocked or played.
- +1 y
would you still talk to him? or like hang out with him...or do you like ignore him? still have these feelings?
- +1 y
If he apologised then I would still talk to him after a while but in a really cold manner. I would also treat him with sarcasm. I would avoid him a lot though :/.
- +1 y
okay ummm what iffff
he played you once...then you talked to him again then played you again? anymore chances lmao? - +1 y
Nah.

+1 yI don't get mad a lot at liek anythign buit when I do its NEVER good! I know its not really a good thing but I'm usually mad untill the say sorry or make up for it. But I always am mad to the point of no return and they can never find out exactly what to do to make me forgive them.

- +1 y
If you want to look at it that way...lol but no not really
I got cheated on..twice..big time. That was about 8 months ago..so far its been 8 months that I've been upset so..
What? You got something you're hiding? I feel bad for that girl you probably played...02 Reply- +1 y
HEY! I didn't play any1 you jerk...ecusing people gets you nooooo where :p
+1 yDepends on what I'm mad about. And I usually don't get very mad, or if I do it doesn't last very long at all... I've never been "played" so I don't really know about that. But I do know some people who can really hold a grudge.

it's like braking your heart into tiny little bits
- +1 y
I'm sure it is...
- +1 y
so you still wouldn't hold a grudge?
- +1 y
If someone used or played me I would probably hold a grudge.
My old "best friend" in high school sexually harassed me our senior year and I never forgave him, never talked to him again or anything. He tried apologizing, but like wtf? It was too late by then.
But that's more of an extreme case. I'm not an angry person and grudges aren't my thing. - +1 y
sexually harassed you?
if your talkin about a slap on the ass...im disapointed - +1 y
No, you idiot. Way to be mature.
- +1 y
you don't have to insult me :(
Why do you even care? If you played her more than once already then why do you want to get back into her good graces? Just so you can play her again? Think of her feelings and grow up. Don't flirt with girls unless you want to be with them.

+1 ynot that long , I usually get over things quick because I'm such a forgiving person , it's one of my worst traits but most times I'm in a happy mood

+1 ywait, if by getting played you mean being cheated on, then I never forgive.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yit depends. usually until he apologizes or I just get over it. but I hold grudges so I don't really get over things easy unless we talk it out and have an understanding

+1 yIt depends on what it is...but I could be upset for a whillllleeeee...
00 ReplyI don't hold anger very well, so maybe no more than a week. Grudges are not my style at all.
00 Replyif someone apologizes I am really quick to forgive, but if not then I just wait till I have forgotten about the argument and if it was really serious and they never apologized, I won't be mad ill just not want anything to do with that person
00 ReplyAround 1 week.
But it does matter how long he played me for.00 ReplyNot long.. I say f*** it and move on. - There's no point in staying mad at what has been done.
04 Reply- +1 y
