The connection. If I dont have that stay up and talk all night, fuck 5 times a day because we can't get enough, wanting to be together every second of every day at the beginning you couldnt beg me to love you. Love doesn't grow on me. It just happens or it doesn't and after the initial lust/ honeymoon phase we have been so close for so long that we can grow into a mature love. My ex husband was like this and it was a psychotic whirlwind that had to end. But I got to know him and after a few years i knew what life would be like forever. My fiance now and i have been together 7 years and started out that way and obviously it turned more calm and normal but we still strive to keep that lust and love and know it's important and possible but are ok with our love growing and changing. That's just how it is for me. Everyone is different in that sense.

How they lol at me. I don’t mean like do they see me as hot. I mean the way I can or can not feel connected through our eyes or some expression. Where you really start to feel as if you are on some great scary adventure ahd have come home, all at the same time.

I fall in love with guys for their personality but once I fall in love with the personality - I begin to observe his body and since it was his personality that drew me and not his looks - no other guy's looks matter when I meet my guy.

With my boyfriend, the first time we talked I noticed how familiar he felt... Kind of like home even though I didn't know him at all. Next I noticed how everyone who knew him had something good to say: he's the go-to guy when people need help, whether is moving furniture or volunteering at youth group. Then once I knew him better and even into our relationship, I starting noticing his eyes, his smile, how drop dead gorgeous he is.

The first thing I notice about people is their eyes or hair.
I've never been in love, but I suppose how I would realize I'm in love is by noticing how natural it feels to talk to them. That's how I judge if someone is a good friend of mine. The other thing is how safe I feel around them, if they make me feel loved and at ease we'll be good.
