Want to go on trip with boyfriend, how do I ask parents?

hi guys!

so... My boyfriend invited me to go to Chicago with him in 3weeks for spring break...i really want to go!

Last year he also invited me but my parents said NO...

I have been with him for a year now and we are both graduating from college in a few months. I'm so stressed out with school, this trip would be so cool to go on. My dad already said No last year... I am hoping he says yes! Any ideas on how to convince my dad to let me go on this trip with my boyfriend?!? I am 22 years old! I'm a good kid lol...

Well, if you're 22 years old and your parents are still controlling you, you have a problem.

Your parents aren't obligated to give you 1 cent, so if they tell you no, you run the risk of dropping their financial support. It's up to you - have a possible fun time in Chicago for 3 weeks and possibly lose your parents support or just do what your parents say and skip the drama.

I think if you really discuss the issue with your parents like an adult they'll ultimately let you go though... You are 22 years old and not a kid.

Just take off! you are old enough, just let them know your safe. The bird must leave the nest sometime. Or maybe say you want to go on a bible mission yo help youth. Tell the parentals you personally may miss out on something that could have been special in YOUR life, if you do miss out, it will be all their fault. I'm kinda semi-pro at deceiving parents. =)

well I'm my opinion if your old enough to drink your old enough to go were you want. all you should hav to do is tell your parents were you're going then go. talk to your parents tell them you'll be fine and that your a big 22 year old college student not a child. just talk it out and see how it goes hope this helps.
