..doesn't sound like it. Sounds more like there are many signs showing you love him whether you've mentioned it directly or not. This could be good or bad depending on the context of his remarks (eg. does he say it when you're being clingy, or in a more romantic seting). Respectively this could mean "I need some space, or don't feel the same way" or "I want to take it to the next step and realize you do, just say it!"

I can mean that they are that you have made it clear that you love them, or it can mean that they are egotistical and assume everyone loves them but most likely not. when I say this I mean it in a joking way, because normally I'm very critical of myself even topping it off with "I'm FANTASTIC".

Its just a big step, I've tried saying it, sort of in the say way this guy has, and girls have only pushed me away, its like people are afraid of love and commitment most people just want to go for sex instead because their afraid of getting hurt. however, in this case it could also mean he loves you like a sister, I'm not really sure, I don't know either one of you, but if you like him a lot and you think he feels the same, then it definitely wouldn't hurt to share your feelings with him.

I usually tell my girl "i know you love me". Even though i might rip a fart just before i say so. If said comidically like me, what it really means is: "i love you, please confirm this".

If he says "i know you love me" out of the blue, well then it's a bit more weird.

ok, well I think he's afraid to be intimate with you in that kind of way.There's tons of pressure on guys that being intimate like that with a chick is weak, so they are afraid to show that side. I think you should just verbalize what you said on here to him; ask him why is it so hard for him to tell you that he loves you.
