My Boyfriend Won’t Stop Touching Me?

I have issues with touching due to trauma. My boyfriend knows this but continues to touch me CONSTANTLY, even when i pull away he will continue... what do i do? i’ve tried to talk to him but i really don’t want to hurt his feelings...

If he can't respect your wishes, or hold back on his urges, then it's not going to work out between you. You need to talk to him and make him understand that this is a red line for you. He might well feel that he needs and deserves a relationship that includes physicality and he might be right. Nobody is to blame here, except when he ignores your feelings on this matter. You just might not be ready for a relationship and he might need to look elsewhere.

i do think it could help rethink my thought on touch because i love him very much and there is time where i LOVE when we touch! it’s just the following me around and touching my butt.. hugging me and kissing me when i’m trying to do stuff...

First off, I'm sorry you went through trauma, as have I. In my opinion tell him he needs to wait until you are comfortable with it, maybe make a list of boundaries or something like that. But don't let him do things that make you uncomfortable when he does tell him that it brings up memories and that you don't like associating those memories with him. He needs to respect your personal space and have patience.

I day deal with touch either, and it's not just becaus e of trauma. I'm an very sensitive and sense the energy of others. I end up realizing that I'm a HSP (highly sensitive person). And we are wired differently than others. Not just emotionally and psychologically but physiology as well. Tell him, no. Even if you ha e to raise your voice. Do not be passive and set boundaries because people will sadly take advantage of you.
