I haven't seen my girlfriend for 1 month, and I don't really miss her. Does this mean I have fallen out of love?

We've been together for 4 and a half years and we are both 26. Recently she left on a family trip for 2 weeks. I didn't really miss her, I enjoyed my personal time and was genuinely happy for her. She texted and called me every chance she could but I wasn't really checking my phone too often. She kept telling me how much she missed me and I told her I missed her too, even though I didn't.

The day before her return I left on a family trip of my own for 2 weeks. I figured that I would probably start to miss her but I didn't. I barely checked my phone the entire time. One day she called me crying that she was missing me so much. I felt guilty that I wasn't missing her.

She wanted to meet me at the airport when I returned but I still felt like I needed personal time, so I told her that I needed a few days to settle back into routine. It's been 5 days since I got back from my trip and therefore it has been a little over a month since I've seen her. I have not missed her once.

Is this normal for relationships or is this a sign that I have lost interest/ fallen out of love?

It means your comfortable. It's not really a bad thing, but you not missing her sounds like you never loved her at all. There is no such thing as being above and falling out of love. That's on some fairytale nonsense.

As long as you developed trust your fine. Because obsessing over her isn't a good thing either. But if you felt nothing for her sounds like here there is a lot more you not admitting. However what your talking about doesn't sound normal at all. Because either you're not interested in dating seriously. Or there's something about her that you never liked in the first place but you settled for her.

Not exactly. The thing is when you finally get to see her, you can decide if you have or have not fallen out of love. You don't need to necessarily miss someone to love them. You might have forgotten how you feel around her and seeing her again might trigger your feelings for her, forcing you to realize how much you have missed her and love her. If you don't feel it at first glance/hug/kiss, then you have fallen out of love with her. Also girls are more emotional so it makes sense why she was crying. She is very emotional thinking about you and all her feelings for you. Hope this helps!

It is sad to to see how she still has such passion for you and you do not have that same passion for her. That said, I'm not entirely convinced you don't love her. I'd suggest when you see her after all this time you get an idea about how you feel when you do. When she hugs you and stuff. If you still don't fe anything, it's time to leave. You're clearly not right for her because you can't give her the care and affection she obviously still needs and wants.

Honestly, in my case it's normal. We rarely use those words, and each have and respect eachother's alone time. It's not because you don't miss them, that you don't love them. I mean, it was just two weeks, we're independent people, we should be fine. One way to be sure about your feelings is meet her ASAP.
What you feel when you meet her, will give you the answer needed.
If you love her, you will likely feel guilty and sad but happier than ever.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it, i have told my boyfriend i have missed him but i try not to say it to often so its not annoying, but when i do i know he doesn't miss me or really care which is fine we both like space, very rare will i get a random "i miss you" text and i usually just think he's trying to be nice, its ok not to miss someone just because they miss you doesn't mean you need to feel the same way.

Just talk to her straight up and let her know be honest, is going to hurt her more then you because obviously she's crazy in love with you but that's not a good reason to stay with her.

No, actual mature love isn't butterflies and not being able to breathe without her, that's a crush and it survives months, perhaps two years at best (there are actual studies about it).
