I've been having some personal problems and also some depression and anxiety. The other night I was having a particularly bad night and I sort of just lost it and went into the bedroom and started crying and for some reason I couldn't stop.
My girlfriend came home and caught me by surprise in the middle of my crying episode which was a bit embarrassing.
She asked what was wrong but I didn't really want to talk a lot so she came and laid next to me and gave me a hug and I had my face on her chest and just cried in her arms for a good 20min before it settled down.
I felt embarrassed but I also really needed a hug and this is very difficult to put in words but it was like I "needed" her to see me cry because I've been trying to talk about my anxiety with her for a while but could never work up the courage to bring it up.
Anyway, now I'm really worried that its harmed the relationship.
Like, did it make me look like I'm weak or soft and harmed her opinion of me?
Will she be starting to think she's with a cry baby?
Girls help me out here, what would you think about the situation if it was you?
