My girlfriend and I were having a talk about what was on our minds lately or stressing us out, and she said that she always feels like she’s never good enough for anyone.
I already know why she feels like this. Her father has always been emotionally abusive, criticizing her no matter what she does. But I don’t know what to do to help her. I try my best just to make sure that she knows that her worth isn’t determine by how other people see her. But her insecurity has also made her stressed about not having close friends even though she does. Or she also wants to get famous, but she even knows that no matter how many followers she gets, she’ll never be satisfied.
I guess what I’m asking is how do I make her feel like she’s enough not just for me but for everyone? But also get that mindset out of her head that she doesn’t need other people’s praise (for lack of a better word)?
She’s also been going to therapy for a while now and her therapist has been somewhat helping her with it, but no matter what we tell my girlfriend, she refuses to believe. Which I get.

What Girls Said
What does that mean, "for everyone"? No one is enough for everyone. Some people are simply geared that way... like children who need constant praise and attention otherwise they just sit and do nothing.
I'm sorry but worth is not something we can hand to people, its something they must develop on their own. It starts with how you feel about yourself and part of that comes down to what you have going for yourself.
If she doesn't see her value or worth then you can talk but you will be talking to a brick wall
