I mean actual cloning would produce a genetically identical child that if anything would be more like a daughter. A magically adult version would still be a different person having different memories etc. But I think you’re imagining a scenario where magically both have the same memories and personality and are identical.

honestly in this case I’d be most interested in what the clones themselves want. They both share the same emotional attachments. Do they want to divide things up? Flip a coin? Do they want to share the same relationships? I think it would be up to them.

what would I want If I was cloned? Well neither of us would want to be separated from our children. So I guess we would for now stay together. Honestly marriage is sexless so might be a good time to make the marriage formally “open”. Over the future my clone and I would have different experiences and grow our distinct lives.

Threesome wouldn't be a thing. I doubt my boyfriend have the necessary gayness to have a threesome with me and another man, no matter if that other man is a perfect clone if him. You know... the moment there are two minds, there are two different experiences and are two different people.

I think I would be very confused because I wouldn't be able to differentiate who's the original one. That in case they are perfectly identical.

And that's not even me being ironic, I think that's simply the most obvious thing to do.

The clone wouldn't be a human, it would be an organic but a wholly artificial construct which would infringe on my partner's identity by the virtue of its existence alone.
Something like that shouldn't exist.

I'd do nothing. The clone, despite being a clone in terms of DNA and all, am pretty sure the different environmental factors will make him noticeably different than my actual boyfriend especially in terms of personality, and that's not the man that I love. Nothing different from an identical twin.

Cloning, one of the technicalities they don’t get into. Assuming we have the technology to safely clone a person, inserting the DNA of the person into an egg cell and getting it to divide, what you result is a baby who has the same DNA as your partner, which makes most of the comments in the comment section quite frankly disturbing.

A twin would be a whole different person, but if she were completely cloned we would move as far away as possible. It would disturb me being around someone else who had my wife or is having. Also, twins has distinct differences but a clone could trick me into an affair. I would tell my wife certain codes so I knew it wasn't the clone.
