from what I have personally noticed from my own data and few others I know. with most modern online dating or just typically in general with dating.

most guys tend to date equal or down. when it comes to things like looks, income, age, etc.
most girls tend to date equal or up. when it comes to things like looks, income, age, etc.

part of why many of them are alone and childless in their later years. is because many of them often waste their good years 18-35 with Chad's and Tyrone's. who have no real plans to settle down with them or give them kids willingly.

instead of trying to find a good partner to build a bond with and raise a family with. plus many of them don't maintain a mostly healthy body and life style as they get older.

I'm by far not the best looking guy there is but shit even I got lucky in My twenties by going out and meeting people. I'm now in My 40's and well lets just say there is no where to go out so it's the internet dating bullshit. All the likes I get are from horrible looking women where as if I'm in public I've had much younger women tell Me that I was attractive. So this just shows Me that women are picky as shit online and the average guy has no chance in hell unless He wants to settle for a 4 if He's a 6.

it just goes to show that while even an average looking woman. might have a buffet of guys to pick from. most of them will be lower quality guys. or even just looking for a hookup or casual encounter. with no real intend on a lasting relationship with her.

so if she wants to find a guy she views as high quality. who will support her and raise a family with her. she has a much better chance to lock him down. while she is still somewhat young and youthful.

yes many just ride the buffet of free food and dick for as long as they can. which is typically around 35-40 when the average woman hits the wall. some earlier however
