I found a birthday card from another girl at my boyfriend’s house?

I stay over at my boyfriends place a lot, and this morning while he was at work, I went to return a book he let me borrow to the bookshelf and noticed a birthday card that was propped open behind a small stack of books. I wouldn’t have thought much if it except for all of the hearts dotting the i’s if you get my drift. And obviously it was signed by another girl. My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and he’s never mentioned this person to me ever. Why would he be keeping this?

I know it isn’t a relative and there is no date in the card. I’ve never met this person or heard her name before and he’s told me about his exes. And why on earth would he have it opened and displayed, albeit half covered behind a small stack of books?

That aside, it's likely nothing if it wasn't properly hidden away inside something. Maybe she's one of those old/long distance type friends that are easily forgotten in conversation but you still send each other bday cards?

First do a search of the woman cause it might be a sister or niece or younger cousin or child he tutors - but it’s suspicious

a few possibilities. 1. he could be cheating on you 2. they could just be friends 3. it could just be a harmless card with just a happy birthday and nothing else intended 4. it could be from a coworker 5. that could just be how she writes 6. she could have feelings for him including sexual feelings for him

just ask him and see what he says, but most likely he'll lie about it so believe the opposite of what he says

It looks old. I’m any case he moved into this house a year ago so it would have been purposefully placed in that way on the shelf recently

This does not sound good, but it could be a girl from his past who refuses to let go. Tell him that you found it, were quite surprised at the contents, and the fact that it appears to have been hidden only makes it worse.

No and actually he’s usually the one getting crazy jealous like he had me get rid of the furniture I had with my ex because we lived together.

Is the ink stain old or new?
Maybe it's a nickname that's why you don't know it?

Then mention the name you saw on card and ask question about her.

Ask him. Does the card have date on it? It might be an old one or probably from a relative. Confront him.

Ask him. I have a female friend who does the silly hearts on each "i" on cards, so I would not necessarily assume much from that alone. Maybe it was from a friend who moved away.

To have it out and not tucked away in a box means he thinks about her. Ask him. Just tell him you were cleaning and saw it. Tell him in a non aggressive manner that you were curious who it was from.
