Meh. I like to think that the man protects his woman and the woman protects her man. Likewise I like to think, that the woman heals her man and the man heals his woman. Isn't that how relationships can be exciting?
As someone who has already got in front of a angry dog and bitten to save my girl, yes we do things like that. We are men we have an instinct to protect.
I naturally am very protective and helpful. I don't know why the top guy comment got beat up over it. I live in the western us and I've never had a problem. ;-;
Men are providers and protectors. Women are bearers and primary care for the children and nurturers. It's a deal that has been set in our DNA for millions of years by evolution. Men are designed by nature for their role, and women for theirs.
If a guy is willing and able to protect me it is definetly attractive to me.

I love it! & I only deal with men who are protectors and providers! I would not date a guy who is just protective it has to come with both in my eyes! That’s how I was raised!

Oh yeah. Love it when a man can “protect me” and care for me. Although I can do that completely on my own, I like when a man can invest his energy and effort into me.

Yea in my life my husband really cared for me when I was ill beacause of dengue I was near death but he cared me too much so yeah for me he plays a protective role and I don't find it cliche
I can't be with a man who doesn't feel the need to protect me. I certainly don't expect him to be super protective or chivalrous. But biologically women are designed to want to feel protected.
Why do you think superhero stories are so popular? I’d do anything to have the ability to send someone who plans to harm me or someone I care about flying 20 miles away from me with a single punch crushing his skull in the process.
That culture is changing. Yes, we still see superheroes saving women. But there are less and less... Modern society is fighting the idea of saving women just because of being women. Though you may seem somebody save their partner.
@AmazingGuy008 That is something I am not sure why it has been made a problem because to see stories like that is missing the point. It's not like there were female superheroes, wonder woman has been around as long as superman as far as I am aware. Depending on the perspective you could see the man saving woman situation as the man sacrificing everything for the benefit of a woman because he values her more than his own life.
To be fair, I do like the stories where the villain threatened the planet because it feels more threatening than putting a single person in danger so I think that was why the world accepted that kind of change.
It's like your saying that women are these weak defenseless beings that need to be protected. So many times I find myself standing up for boys getting picked on in the hallway
I don’t think you understand how weak women are physically compared to men. My girlfriend when I was a teenager took my offer to punch me as hard as she could in my stomach. She only managed to hurt her hand. She then clearly realized that women couldn’t hurt men. Life isn’t a superhero movie with Black Widow. Be careful.
She is probably just playing around with you. Ever spar with your male friends? If so ever notice they are relaxed and comfortable sparring even getting a few laughs in the conversation? Would they act the same way in a real fight with a real enemy? Also, there are cultural differences between Africa and North America.
@joeblow123 Oh i would defiantly fight. (Pinned my brother to the ground in 10 seconds flat) I know little karate but still I am very rough with opponents. And I DON'T play.

It is nice enough, I like feeling safe. But I dont mind having to protect my man either
I like it, but then again, I’m more of the submissive type so 🤷♀️
i think men should protect women for sure and i love when they do <3

If you live in a place where you need a boyfriend for 24 hour protection it's time to move.
I like when I feel he'd be able to protect me from anything.
It makes me feel soft and feminine.
I love to feel protected by a man even when I can protect myself. It makes me feel like he is going to look out for my wellbeing.
I get nothing out of it. It’s better if others don’t start shit and if they get involved in anything they can handle themselves.
It's not necessarily something you enjoy, it's a responsibility to keep your family safe because who els will.

My girlfriend was a professional fighter. Me, a professional soldier. She handled unarmed jerks, me armed jerks. Worked out well enough.

@Jersey2 That's not true!!! Women can be just as strong as men. Example: The winner for most trees chopped down 2019 IS A WOMEN!!!
I know women can be strong. I have seen girls beat up guys both in a fight and in the weight room. Still, on average, we are stronger.
@Jersey2

@ThisIsMyOpinion I know that most of the time men can be stronger but I just feel there is no right to label ALL women and girls as weaker.
I agree. Also if a girl is strong that doesn't make her any less feminine. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise.

"And I DON'T play."
Neither do I. Graveyards are filled with men who underestimated women. I don't plan on joining their ranks.
@joeblow123 lol
I think I know who you are.
@ThisIsMyOpinion um DOUBTFUL! 3 words: NOT MY REAL AGE! oof thats 4!
Wasn't going to say it even if I did. Not here for that.
