Would you consider a sister sitting on her brother's lap normal?

My boyfriend's sister just posted a picture on her FB in which she is literally sitting in his lap.
I din't ask my boyfriend yet. I don't know what to say if he'll ask me what part of that picture was so weird.

Do you guys think it's weird or do some families are super comfortable around each other?

Not unless we're talking a baby sister between 4-11 years old or something. But if you take my sister who's only three years younger or my older sister who's around 8 years older, I'd never have either of them in my lap. That'd feel completely weird and wrong.

Yes, they can be so comfortable with each other that almost nothing is off the table to go for that they might not do. I would always hope to say someday to relay to my own future children that they realize that the best love that they can come to know is only skin deep and in the blood. Anyways what I said is a very good way for people who are royalty to be some of the biggest shining examples of love, affection, and loyalty that could be among the living.

Yeah. I remember sitting on my older brothers lap during a long car journey. I was wearing a little skirt and he was wearing grey sweat pants. My sister used to sit on my lap whenever our mom's car seemed like it was going to stall in traffic. It would start shaking real hard until it finally stalled.. Then she'd stay there until our mom was able to get it started again. That could take 20 minutes at times

The whole car was. For 13 years our mom had a car that would take 20-30 minutes to get started in the morning, then would stall every time she stopped.
She also would try to leave us in it with it running while she ran in whatever store, in hopes it would still be running when she got back.
It never was. So she left my sister and I in it while it slowly started to stall out. A long and violent process too.

There is a good chance, as we started getting older. Not only would her body shaking like crazy on my lap, from the car stalling, but we both were turned on by watching her fight to get it started again. Honestly, I think it’s fine. I have a sister that is eight years older than me and she was pregnant at the time. We were waiting for a table at the restaurant and I was sitting down and there was no other room for her to sit so she just sat on my lap casually, no big deal the whole family was there. Nothing to worry about it just means they are close and she feels safe with him.

Depens on how old the both of you are. 4 and 22 years is fine, but 20 and 23 years can be seen as weird by others. But if your family is close, it's fine.
