Should I be worried about my girlfriend catching up with a old guy friend over facebook?

Hi, so my girlfriend was friends with this guy over 6 years ago and knew him from childhood as they grew up in the same street. He has children and was engaged at one point, did some bad things, got on some bad drugs and went to jail. He got out about 3 months ago, my girlfriend was saying he was in a shocking state, stealing from shops, eating at restaurants without paying etc. my girlfriend has considered him a brother, as theyve known each other for years and he knows her whole family.

recently he got in contact with her to tell her that he was sorry for how has was when they last saw each other (which happened many years ago) he said he is living on a beach in another state and they were just catching up. Things about video games, my girlfriends dads passing, how her mum is, me and her living together, my girlfriend telling him about me and our pets and fish. It all seems completely harmless and i reading the messages i can see she has not attraction interest in him. She really shows me off and thats great, but should i be worried about their conversations? she's mentioned me being her partner about 3 times. But im still worrying, maybe im just being a worry wort lol

yes , you should be worried about this man coming back into your womans life ! however , if he wants to get together once with her then let them but if they want to get together twice then tell her you want to meet her ex and see what she ended with him and started with you and your better at then him ! if she says no to your meeting him and the reason for her saying this to you is not a good enough reason for you then maybe you should find yourself another woman ! for she can be cheating on you with him ! thanks

Just old friends, they were mostly catching up. She sent him photos of us at a Halloween party, talking about us living together. He is living in another state and said he won't be coming back, my girlfriend is a chef in a motel and her spare time consists of arts, maintaining our house and video games. As we are both young (20s) its mostly what we do. She has been helping him with the nintendo Switch over facebook, she has been playing some video games with him. I dont mind that, she even plays video games with my friends. But im just worried if its something to worry over, she doesn't show any signs of wanting to leave and be with him, sending provocative texts or naughty pictures. The pictures have been photos of our fish, her rabbit, tattoo on her arm, one of me and her and a few video game shots. But i think im just being a worry wort

I’m in this situation now and I show him like a hot model. Don’t be worried! Know your importance when she’s mentioning you because she loves you. If you uncomfortable with them both talking then you should communicate this with her?

Perhaps, when she flaunts me he says “he sounds good...” and she just keeps talking about me, until the subject is changed to video games. I have read the messages and they sound super professional and no flirting or kissy emojis. Im just worried that it might turn into something more then just a friendly catch up, i know they can’t physically meet and i know she won't move to another state or leave our apartment. But when she mentions me, he is short reply, he has been trying to get in and game with her, she is my team mate on video games and we always team up on everything. If she doesn't play with me, she asks my friends if they will play, but she never flirts with them or she says “will get him to play”. The guy wants her to play Fortnite and she said “will ask my partner to play”. He didn't sound pleased, but she won't talk over game chat unless im in her party, otherwise she remains quite, she helped him set up a switch via facebook. Like she's super smart and all

I’m loyal and dedicated like her so I understand. I got a Xbox x and had planned on being a gamer but I worked too much. I do agree with everything she is doing because I do the same thing. I don’t think it’s right to not let other males know your man exist and around. She’s also right for letting you know she can be trusted. I talk about my man all the time. I didn’t put all this hard work and dedication into this for nothing. You got a good woman! Loyalty and respect goes a long way

Really sets my mind at ease, i read one message she sent him and she said “he is the one” and it was just so beautiful, she has been gaming with him. But doesn't talk over game chat, then she says “i will try and ask my partner to play”. But she said “please dont stress or get the wrong idea, he knows my family. Plus he lives in another state with his girlfriend and kids, actually he wants you to join a game of Fortnite. So he can ask you about computers, he wants a gaming PC and i thought that no one better to ask would be you”, they were exs or even dating. They are just old friends, he was mainly asking how her mum was, she shows me off on everything, she even sent him a photo of us at a Halloween party and said “thats my partner”

You can try. If she truly doesn't realize, there's a chance that she will think you're being controlling. No guy goes after a girl he isn't interested in, however. It's kind of a lose/lose situation. Hopefully your relationship is strong enough that she stays faithful, that's all you can really count on. She isn't going to stop talking to him if she doesn't want to though.
