The desire for revenge is very real. But the chances of getting it without breaking the law (or their face and the law) are often slim to none.

There are plenty of people I wish I could get back at. Sometimes I wish about getting a genie in a bottle and then wishing for the power to get revenge with impunity.

It’s that I’m not the type of person who initiates antagonism but sadly too many people get off on that and have antagonized me.

But to be introspectively honest there have been people I have inadvertently screwed over in my life. My intentions weren’t malicious but I still caused damage. Some of these people probably fantasized about getting back at me.

Now how I can expect to be forgiven if I can’t forgive? While it does feel (and is most likely true) that I received exponentially much more abuse in this world than I gave out, it still a painful reality for some people that I have done has hurt them.

Bottom line is need to forgive people and do your best to move on. Forgiveness isn’t about letting someone off the hook or forgetting what happened. It’s about letting go of a grudge for your own self healing.

If they made you suffer just be kind to them in return while creating some boundaries because there is self respect but just be kind. If they know they are mean to you but in return you're kind. They'll have to face the fact that they are assholes and no one likes to admit they're asshole without any reason. And at the moment they will try to receive your forgiveness, just let them know you'll never accept their excuses and that they are bad people, you're just better than that.

In my opinion you don't have to be mean in order to make someone suffer knowing you may suffer from your bad actions in the future. I'd rather let them deal with themselves while going on my way.

Now if you really want to make them suffer, try to sleep with one of their relatives. For some reason it makes them mad. Aim for the mom even if she's 70, it will always work.

I wouldn't suggest doing so, being friendly is more fun; but hypothetically I would say by befriending them and then occasionally making comments that press on their insecurities hidden as normal conversation. For example comparing them to a certain stereotype like a greaser or something, implying that their hair looks greasy and their clothing is torn, but the key is it's hidden behind what you could pass off as good intentions, because you think the jackets look cool or something; but in the back of their mind they'll be unwillingly aware of how their hair and clothing looks. Sky is the limit with this one really
