I’m in Australia where schools and universities are closed until next month due to the Christmas school holidays break I’ve seen free psychologist in the past as I was able to get a care plan from the GP to get free sessions but I found they just didn’t work and I was seeing them over a period of 5 years because most times it would either end up being 3 months between appointments or they would talk so loud due to them having hearing issues that it made it very difficult for me to open up about things because I knew the people sitting outside in the waiting room waiting to see the doctor could hear everything that was being said so I just stayed quiet most times to avoid strangers hearing my problems the worst experiences I encountered was when one psychologist would always talk to me about her other patients and why she was treating them she even one time tried to do hypnosis and because it didn’t work she got frustrated even to see private psychologist or psychiatrist I’m looking at anywhere between $250 and $400 per 1 hour session and right now due to covid they aren’t seeing anyone in the office they are calling everyone and if you miss their call you miss your appointment and you have just wasted your money having insurance alone to cover the cost of seeing a private one is something I personally can’t afford even many families here who do have private health insurance are pulling out and are choosing to no longer have private health because every year the cost of it goes up and up and up and the less and less cover you get and when you do get private health insurance you have to wait 12 months
I’ll definitely give the Universities a call as soon as they open next month and see what they say and I check around our local community areas cause you are right it is definitely very challenging trying to address my issues on my own when I can’t even figure out the stem of why I am so toxic and unstable thank you heaps for your help and for all the advice you have given me I really appreciate it so very much thank you
You can call universities while they are closed and speak to the dean of the psychology department or professors in that department and ask them for recommendations. Here are some other options for Australia:www.healthdirect.gov.au/low-cost-or-free-mental-health-serviceswww.healthdirect.gov.au/paying-for-mental-health-serviceswww.innermelbpsychology.com.au/.../www.opencounseling.com/new-south-wales/sydneyanxietysolutionscbt.com/.../Hopefully, you can find the help you need.Another thing you can do is get into a regular cardiovascular exercise program. That is very helpful for mental health. Yoga is also helpful. Before you say or do anything, identify your objective and how your choices might impact others. When we slow down and reduce the impulsivity, our choices tend to become more functional. If your choices aren't taking you toward your objectives, look for alternatives rather than continue the familiar pattern and hope for different results.
Toxic like being mentally unstable constantly judging and accusing people of doing things I have no proof of them doing throwing things back in people’s faces this is just the tip of the iceberg
Make a active effort to stop constantly remeind myself off the negative behaviours I have shown when thinking off causing people as to acting like a dick stop and think before u do stuff
Thank you for your help thank you
