Do you think each gender experiences one or the other? (i.e. men experience lust at first sight vs. women experiencing love) or do you think both experience the same?

True love a first sight is a gigantic piece of horse sh*t served with a side of hamster droppings. You need to know someone before you can evaluate their character which is key to true love. If it's not lust you feel immediately(which happens a lot) but think it's love, then you're just projecting your fantasies onto someone and are really naive in how the world works.

Fair point. Just curious, have you ever seen someone on the street you don't know and felt a connection? Not a dirty thought running through your head but could feel something was there?

My parents claim that they had love at first sight, but honestly, I don't believe it's at all possible. In order to have love you need to know about the person. But at first sight, all you can know is what they look like. My mom claims that you can see the person's aura, but I don't think so at all.

Hmm, I don't believe in that 'aura' crap either. It's hard to believe that such a thing like love at first sight can exist.

It's not just hard to believe. It's impossible to believe. Love is something that needs time to develop.

I can't safely give an answer for every person living on earth. But love at first sight... seems pretty far fetched. True love is patient, and LASTS.

I think that both genders experience both. I know I have felt both. the deference is what you focus on when thinking about.
