My boyfriend didn’t invite me to his graduation and I don’t know why?

We were hanging out and he said that he had gotten his cap and gown in along with invite cards. I did not receive one. Because of covid he can only invite eight and his parents have separate family’s and I understand family is important I’m just frustrated I’m not in his top eight. It really hurts my feelings and I don’t know what to do. I would have invited him to mine in a heartbeat even if there were restrictions. I would have invited him over many family members but he doesn’t feel the same for me.

There could be many legitimate reasons for not inviting you. Also, if his graduation hasn't passed, he may still be planning on inviting you. My issue would be the fact he never discussed this with you. Never make assumptions. Check this out with him rather than seek the answer from strangers.

Then break up with him I say. A person like that is obviously looking to get out of the relationship at any point by any means and so they're picking and choosing their battles to where they are always on top. That's a toxic relationship it does nobody any good

Its possible he does not want you to meet his family - maybe he does not want you to know they have yellow teeth or are all uneducated or racist etc..

Families put a lot of pressure on kids sometimes. He probably got steamrolled about this. You could give him a pass on this but this is a problen that won't go away on it's own.
