I suspect that that's not normal and that there's an underlying issue there. Maybe she was raped or molested as a child. Maybe she's a feminist---these can be pretty weird about anything. It may even be as simple as a religious issue. Maybe she's afraid that you'll just "hit and run". Whatever it is, if she needs help with that issue you would do well to encourage her to admit it and get that help. You don't want a relationship with what I would call a 'no-fly zone', because in the end it wouldn't work out.
