For me it depends on if he regrets then I would stay friends, if he doesn't regret it I might leave him slowly.

My best friend had an affair in which she ended up having sex with 6 different guys (all arranged by the guy she was having an affair with). She wasn’t happy or sexually satisfied in her marriage. Doesn’t make her any less my best friend.

If my friend was the cheater? Um I don't know why I’d want to remain friends unless there was already a prior real friendship than I’d just not care but other than that I would b disappointed in my friend but I wouldn’t have any reason to remain friends with anyone’s ex

That is a good question. I do not know. It would depend on a lot of things. I have friends that have had my back through some pretty bad times. I would have to support them no matter what.

That really all depends on what they do after.

Do they have genuine remorse or are they proud of their indiscretion?

Are they still messing with the side piece or have the cut off all contact?

If it was a lapse in judgment and a moment of weakness that they were deadset on never repeating then I'd stay friends and ream their ass out for doing such a dumb thing.

If they didn't care, I would boycott them.
