I think if someone is deceitful and slimy enough to cheat on their partner, then they’re gonna lie and be deceitful to you too.

I was friends with this guy who wasn’t cheating on anyone himself but he was fucking with someone who was in a relationship. And he found it funny that they were cheating with him

I didn’t respect what he was doing but I minded my business and continued to be his friend.
Then I found out he fucked my partner too and went around bragging about it 🤠🤠

So now I stay away from those who cheat/home wreck, because they have no morals. They’re gonna fuck over their friends too.

Yeah in general you don't want those kinds of people around you. I mean at the very least if they're not a bad person in general... they're going through some hard times. I can usually call out if a chick is going to be a cheater just by taking a hard look at her friends. My only dude friends are ex-military dudes and they just don't make time for bullshit like that. They keep that stuff to themselves. But with chicks... I can usually make that call just by a good look at her friends. If they're cheating, they'll have her cheating at some point as well.

I think it might be different though in different situations. Like I went through a spell where I cheated constantly and with many different women. But I was hurt, and was cheating only for revenge. One of those "begged-to-stay" situations where I just wanted out and was trying to make a break-up happen... shit is complicated when there is kids and financial shit involved. None of my friends knew anything about anything. I wasn't bragging... they know now after I've come to accept that life is just a cold bitch and then you die.

I think the bragging shit was some sort of ego trip and also why he'd try to gank your girl. I treat my friend's girlfriends or wives like distant relatives because I'm not doing that to a friend. Bluntly put, that dude wasn't your friend to begin with. I mean it's cool to tell a bro his chick is the type to step out on them, but don't go stealing that type of chick from someone you would go into combat with and trust with your life. That's like stealing your Dad's new wife.

So I'll vote A only because I see it as very situational... but I would advise to keep anyone that's in that frame of mind at a distance. They could just be fucked up or just going through a rough time, but they could suck you and your life into their bullshit.

Yes, I would be freinds with someone that cheats on their partner, unless their partner was freind of mine as well.

At the end of the day there is no way we can know what the true dynamics of another person's relationship is with each other. What might look good to us on the outside may not be good at all on the inside.

I never cheated on my ex-wife... but it was never a good marriage. I never wanted to seen as that guy, who cheats. But in retrospect there was times I could of, and a small part of me regrets not doing it. Because in the end my ex-wife never truly deserved all the time and effort I put into that relationship. I loved her, but I tried way too hard, for way too long... it was always a lot harder than it ever should have been, for a lot longer than I should have.

She did cheat on me, and honestly, I don't even blame her for it. The marriage was terrible... by the time I found out I was past caring about it.

Honestly my two closest friends are not the type of people who would do that and I would be disappointed in them if they were. The same holds true for me. If I was that kind of person they would look at me differently too. That said I had another close friend who was the type of person who’d cheat all the time when she was younger. She came from a very broken childhood and didn’t have any real stability. Her self esteem was abysmal. I was the first friend who stayed with her no matter what she did and would support her. I told her when she was wrong, but didn’t abandon her. And you know what? It was a positive influence on her. Did I trust her with guys I liked? No. I learned that lesson early on and the guys I did end up dating were trustworthy and she respected the boundary (with me at least) if we were actually in a relationship. She ended up going to therapy to deal with her trauma and got into a serious relationship where they both treat each other well. I think if she never outgrew who she was when we first met I probably wouldn’t still be her friend but I like to think some people change if they’re given the opportunity to even if they were a serial cheater etc

If a friend of mine cheated on their boyfriend/girlfriend once or it was a drunken one-night stand but otherwise they're a good person and they made a mistake, then yes. I would still be friends with them. Sometimes, people who are otherwise good can do shitty things.

But if it was a sneaky thing repetitive thing they did and I saw them behaving deceptively towards their partner, I would really question their morals and if they're a good person or not. If they don't respect someone they're supposed to love, they won't respect their friends either. Also, I don't like getting involved in messy stuff and drama. I don't like to be friends with sneaky/disrespectful, highly selfish or bad people.

I have people that are amazing friends, but terrible partners.

My best friend cheated on his girlfriend, but hasn’t told me. He was settling and unsure of his relationship at the time. But he’s an amazing friend. It’s been almost 15 years.
Another close friend cheated on her fiancé. She did it out of spite because he cheated on her 💁🏾‍♀️.

I’ve had a total of 3 friends who’ve cheated on their partners. All 3 of them have self esteem issues among other things. They suck at intimate relationships, but are great friends that love and care for me.

I have all types of friends though and have a lot of patience. As long as they show me love, I’ll give it right back. Flaws and all. My second friend I mentioned lies a lot and tries not to take accountability for her own actions. I have to continuously call her out on it. Pretty sure she has a personality disorder.

This girl and I started hanging out a lot and talking a lot seemed good. She told me she wanted us to get to know each other more so we could be more than friends. After a little while she then told me she had a boyfriend after she seemed interested in me. After she told me that I haven’t hung around her at her house since or talked to her as much. I see her every other day at social gatherings I say hey to her and how’s she’s doing but that’s it I don’t say anything else. It’s really not like it’s used to be don’t even know if you would consider us actually friends anymore

I wouldn't. Their cheating has nothing do with our great friendship. I would try to figure out why they are cheating. Is it because they're not fulfilled with the person they are with? Not all cheating is unjustified. Sometimes you can be married to someone who is abusive towards you or has abandoned you emotionally and they refuse to change.

I have had friends in the past who cheated but usually it was a revenge cheat.. then there where just plain sluts but those friendships ended fast.

I voted keep them. Its not my relationship. They haven't done anything to me.

But... id tell them it's wrong and they shouldn't have done it. I'd lose some respect fir them. 100%. But I wouldn't hate them.

It depends on how long we've been friends. Like if it's a life long friend then I wouldn't respect what they did but I would still be their friend. If it's a friend I just made or haven't been friends long with then we might not be friends for very long.

I was dating a guy who gave me a hard time when he heard I was living with someone. He actually broke up with me over it.

I was stunned to find out mr ethics was friends with a girl, who was living with a guy for 10 years. She was an old girlfriend too.
