I think I am now. After working so long at my job has made me super jaded. I'm sick of working in food service and anything looks better at this point. Now I'm facing bright prospects because my friend said positions are always open at his work and he put in a good word for me!
Good luck with that
Thanks!
Always! There are many times when the "sign" means nothing at all. But there are also times when the "sign" is actually a really important thing for you to take note of and learn from. I find that the signs usually happen alongside bizarre and somewhat inexplicable situations. Like I recently got hit with a life threatening skin infection. The doctors have no idea how I got the infection. All they said was "your health is shockingly good for how heavy you are," and the nurse scanning my arteries for a possible blood clot told me that my arteries are spotless.
So... life threatening skin infection in the middle of a midterm exam period for my law school, where the doctors directly said "Hey asshole. We have no idea why your health looks this good. Lose some weight and stop waiting till tomorrow to take care of yourself." I guess that just kind of felt like a sign to me.
One of my main regrets in life is that there is so much to learn and I don’t know if I will live long enough to learn it. There is also so much to do but life only gives you 24 hours in a day, not even Bill Gates is able to do everything he wants
I try to. If I can improve, I should take that chance
I hear that

Naturally! Before, not so much.
Oh yes! Sometimes it's an immediate lesson. There are also lots of cases when I had to process something for a day, a week, or even years before understanding the lesson. It's how I constantly learn and evolve as a person.
👍👍
At my age, yes, I definitely do. In fact, I was lucky in life to be able to detect these things when I was young. This is what makes some things in my life a tragedy; I recognized their importance, but lost them anyway.
Sorry for your loss🙏
Young lady, I appreciate your sentiments and, in this context, saying that is OK.
But, your words also have just created teachable moment for everyone...
When expressing sympathy over a death, don't say "Sorry for your loss." to a mourner. Lots of people say that, of course, but aying "Sorry for your loss" is like saying "Hey, I know it sucks for you, but, really, I don't give a shit because it doesn't affect me." I don't say that. Instead, when someone dies, I say to the mourners "Sorry for OUR loss... because each of us is a vital and important contributor to the tapestry of human history." or something to that effect. I am told by the mourners that they appreciate that way of saying things.
So, again, it's OK in this case and I am fine with "Sorry for your loss" because no one has died except parts of my soul. Thanks again!
I remembered something Once a girl wrote in my slambook that when life gives you many problems don't say why me? Instead say try me.
So the savage me write in her slam book o pray to god and life give her all the problems and try her 🤣🤠😎
🤣🤣🤣
Jeez! I'm a nice guy trying to get through life and struggling! I mean can't there just be a smooth path for people who just try and do the right thing? lol
Yeah no, I believed that most my life, but it's a lie.. the more good/right you try to do the more people or life just shits on you
One good thing bout getting old... The more stories you have lolol
Eye opening experiences are life's lessons. You should learn by them. If you don't, you wasted that opportunity
Very true.. I am half blind though🤣
Heck no. They don't call me Mr Oblivious for nothing!
Lololol
I always leave my eyes open, when things around here
get shady one thing I want to stay away from drama and
toxic people
Even keeping one eye open helps
So true
i try to learning form my mistakes even better learning from mistakes somebody else makes
LOL right! Easier and less painful that way
No not really, im kinda blind and busy with my life trying to scatch a living out of farming
👍👍
I used to not be.
Two divorces later I'm open to advice from anyone
But I'm sure your divorces were a learning lesson
I do but something's slip past my watchful eye only to be caught too late or almost too late.
That can certainly happen
I use them as a wreck of learning something out of this life. Next Time i can avoid.
Right!!
Absolutely. I feel everything happens for a reason
Very true
@Purplemonkey242 just curious have you had any Eye Openers?
@newfreshstart oh yeah. About friends and about myself
Life has not seemed to bring me any eye openers i wish it did
Most walk around blind sighted.
That's so very true
Sadly, lately it has been challenging. :(
It happens🤗 I'm a work in progress myself
You mean that eye colour goes from fully transparent to dark brown, with no blue except if the fully transparent are at the sea with blue skies?
Yeah, we call it grey in the snow and clouds
I most definitely do.
👍👍
Not often enough apparently
It happens.. Int a work in progress myself lol
Without pain there is no bliss. So yes, I do.
👍👍😊
Yes, and one must always
Yeah or negative consequences follow when you don't
Not necessarily some are just FYIs
In the smallest details
Gotta be careful of confirmation bias. We see patterns where there might not be.
No I notice it too late :/
It happens sometimes
Yes, or at least I try always!
If it first you don't succeed, try try again😊
Somtimes if ot really hits home
Right!!
Maybe I pay attention to them too much.
Yes. I watch everything closely
Usually
That's good
I try to but if its not convenient then i won't
I'd be a fool not to
That's true
I don’t think I notice them?
Yes, I do if I am paying attention.
Yes. Hard not to pay attention.
I dunno. I wish I do.
Thanks for like!
Yes. I do.
Sometimes
I'm a work in progress lol or half blind 🤷🤣
Yes that's me
😊🤗
If it brings it.
Yeah, small details make the difference
