Sort of... depending on what you consider "on and off". I had a friend in college that I had some romantic interest in, but she was in a relationship at the time so I didn't pursue her. A few years (and a couple of relationships for me) later, after I had graduated and we hadn't been in contact for a while I found out that she was single again and I was too so I reached out to her and we started dating. It got pretty serious for a while, but in the end didn't work out.

For me any friendship I have with a girl I'm the one to catch feels but it's always 1 way. I did ask out a girl I was friends with for 4 years but got rejected for my looks lol

Yes, that is currently happening to me right now with my guy best friend who im in love with. We are not talking anymore because he ditched me for some 35 year old party chick
