No, there is almost always some sexual attraction. I think that girls like to have a few "close" guy friends around as plan b's. This goes back to caveman times when they never knew if their main dude was coming back from the sabre-tooth tiger hunt or was about to get his head clubbed in. They needed a cave to move into ASAP or they would get robbed and ravaged that night... enter BFF Steve and his very alive self and adequate cave.

I have a couple of close female friends and as far as I'm aware there is no sexual intent between us. Certainly not from my point of view anyway, and I assume not for their point of view either, as I haven't seen any indications to suggest otherwise.
Of course it is. Friendships are not based on gender, at least mine aren't. When I was in highschool my best friend was a boy.
I believe so provided neither develops non-platonic feelings for the other. That is when things start to become complicated.

in my opinion , if they are both single , and they spend so many quality times together , it is only matter of time until one of them start to catch a feeling
If you can communicate to your friends if there's a line that you can't go over you can have the best friendship ever but you both have to be mature about it
Yes but don't be afraid to let sex be part of it trust me it'll keep you from having sexually frustrating thoughts about him later on and those kill friendship im not saying all the time but like one a month or so suck him up at least and say 2-3months let him go all the way it'll keep things from building pressure until something pops can you handle that?
the answer is a yes, I have a friend that is a boy, grew up with him, he is married and we talk that s all no sex involved
Between a girl and a boy, like when you are in school, absolutely.
But later in life, friendships fade away, and people look for a relationship.Yeah ofc. I'm friends with a guy who I don't have feelings for and he doesn't have feelings for me either
Of course it’s possible. I have several guy friends.
I'm sure there are people out there who can make it work, but I've never seen it work in my own life.
no it's not. we cover this topic every week and literally every day we get another "OMG! I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS BUT NOW HE WANTS TO FUCK ME!!! WHAT DO I DO?" question
Yes, it's possible that a girl and guy could have a friendship
No, unless he is Gay or his man bit is faulty.
Otherwise in most of cases he is in a 'friend zone', but really wants to be a boyfriend, unfortunately it will never happen.Yes of course. Opposite gender does not necessarily mean attraction
Yes, for some people. Possible and highly probable with me. But possible non platonic undertones will ALWAYS surface at least occasionally
Yes. My best friend is female she is an amazing friend who I'm lucky to have. And tbh she's more then just a friend she's more like family then my own family are.
Sure, but things can get complicated.
Ah, the age old question. I think so.
No, they will go in sexual one day
Yes it's possible... May be not all the time
