Are you scared of relationships and commitment?

I've been talking to my friends recently about relationships, so it got me thinking and now I curious. When you were younger, high school, college age, or if you're that age now, or even if you're not, what are your views on getting into a relationship? Are you scared of commitment, scared of feeling strong emotions for one person?

I've been in so many committed relationships to the point where I sold my soul to the devil to make sure I be with her and it backfired on a molecular level. For an example: I bought my girlfriend a television for $1,100 for her birthday, saved up my money for the last 6 months paid in cash then the next day she ask me to pay. Forgetting her hands and feet done and I refused because I told her I didn't have any money and she immediately breaks up with me after 10 minutes of arguing. She even destroyed the television I got for her birthday that day because I refuse to kiss her ass and do her bidding like I'm some type of slave. I keep telling people I'm not a magical money tree, just because I'm in a relationship what's a woman that doesn't mean she has to ring me dry. But thank God I bought warranty on that television. Committed relationships are supposed to be 50/50 each. Meaning the woman has to give 50% in the relationship is so does the man. Nobody should be doing it 30/50 or 30/10 in a committed relationship.

Not scared, but cautious is the more accurate term. In relationships you can only get out what you put in and are responsible for what YOU can do. You have no control over the other person and their efforts.

They can be happy one day, then possibly upset or unhappy in the relationship the next day. I would rather have peace of mind and upfront kind of relationship where communication is not an issue. If she cheats or wants out, I will let her walk.

It is tough to maintain relationships and for the most part the responsibility seems to fall under the man. You have to wonder if your emotional and mental well being is worth it at the end of the day.

No, I am not afraid of love, relationships. I have always been single and wish to remain single for life.

What I fear is one day a woman may fall in love with me so much so that I would mean the world to her and this is something I never want because I never want to be in love. I don't want any woman to be hurt.

Yes, I had a dysfunctional family.. I didn't get any love or attention since I was a child until now.. It gave me big intimacy issues and hard time feeling " accepted " .. It's one of the main reasons I've never been in a relationship... I'm waiting for someone that i totally believe in... If I settle down for someone else, it will be just worse

Pain is a symptom of the baseline we Guage the value of love with. love stories never have a happy ending, if for no other reason, than that a happy ending in a love story is an oxymoron, and only Indian experienced child like mine can you end a story with a couple being happy and that being the eternity of their future existence if that's not the way life works, is it? LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS, WHEN YOU ARE MAKING OTHER PLANS💔 Even the most successful screenplay writers cannot conceive of let alone create and orchestrate an eternal never-ending love story with no unfortunate life altering events ever happening not even as a work addiction are they capable of doing that because it's so far removed from reality the very concept of social notion is not possible maybe not even possible.
