Defeating a lie detector machine is not as hard you may think, a lie detector can't like pin point a lie or. a truth all it can do is measure your biological markers, heart rate, breathing and other things, basically scientifically speaking a human has some specific markers when he lies, but it's not that die detectors are unbeatable
If you are calm and composed then you can beat a lie detector, a possible way would be sadness when a person is sad his rate rate is slow or normal, you can think about a really sad incident and drown yourself in sadness
Not all lie detector questions are such where you have to lie there are some questions where you are suppose to say truth the difference between that question which is known to be true and the one the suspect you are lying will give away your lie
In any situation avoid lying completely say some truth some lie mixed also be confident about your word and don't worry about getting caught
If you can do that you can easily pass a lie detector test
Also you are not trying to beat a super computer you are only fooling a man who is trying to read your markers even if he js not sure of your lying that test will be unconclusive.

Lie Detectors are a bullshit technology. That's why they are not permissible in court.

The technology is actually very helpful for the right purpose and insanely accurate if used properly. They detect elevated stress levels which if you are trying to duagnose a stress related injury is perfect and super accurate. The problem is in the interpetation of lies. The device measures stress not truths.
