Why does he want to know what's on my mind all the time if he doesn't love me?

This guy I've been talking to always wants me to tell him what's on my mind and what I'm scared of and what bothers me. But I'm almost certain he doesn't love me like that. If that's the case why does it concern him. He said he wants to be in my head but I don't know why he should be there? I need help.
