I do have a job, but I am only making $45k a year.
Meanwhile, most of my peers are getting married and/or having kids.
I am in the front porch drinking all alone by myself.

Trending & News Your life shouldn't be measured by how much money you earn. I wouldn't call you a loser, however, you are making $45K a year and you live with your mom. That's not good (unless you're saving up for a house, but if you were, you would've mentioned that). You make more than enough to live on your own. Hell, you make a lot more than I do and I live on my own. $45K a year is above average for an American; they make like $37K a year, on average.
1) I'd say, unless you are saving up for a house, you need to get your own place first. Or better yet, save up for a house, since you are making a strong middle-class income here, and have no excuse not to be making plans.
2) A lot of us men don't have girlfriends in the modern day and age due to simp culture and a lot of women's over-inflated egos and poor return on investments (in other words; a lot of women are sh*tty date material nowadays and aren't even worth the time). I'd just say, don't be a simp and don't waste your middle-class income on a girl who doesn't deserve it.
3) Lastly, start making some plans for yourself, based on what YOU want. The things I personally want are unachievable for me (to be taller/stronger, and to find a new woman of my dreams; which is impossible if I'm not tall), but you still have time. I'd say 36 is the point where you've passed middle age, so you still have a good 7 or 8 years left to start putting plans into action.
Good luck, dude.
Living with your mom is fine, as long as you're helping her and not the other way around.
Sounds like your career isn't going very well, consider looking for something else? The change of pace could give you the opportunity to be more social in the new environment.

That sounds pretty sweet actually.
$45,000 a year and lots of time to drink on the porch.
Life could always be worse. Don't worry, most marriages go to shit these days and a lot of your buddies are going to get cheated on and end up losing everything in lawyer fees trying to get visitation of their own kids.
Wtf are you doing...
"Only" 45k and living with parents... I'm earning roughly 15-20k, haven't moved out yet but I'm 23 and do plan on moving out hopefully within the next year or so...
Other than that, having no friends or relationship is normal for guys these days... And I say that because im in the exact same boat.
As @MCheetah said you still have many years ahead of you
I have no friends either, 1 brother has a girlfriend who is someday going to be his wife and 2 kids, another brother has a girlfriend, another brother has a wife. My life is pathetic
I know how u feel i have no relationship
Naw, it is what you make of it
