The type of girl that apologizes too much?

What do you think of the person that apologizes for things that shouldn't need an apology?

I met a girl and she says "I'm sorry" about a lot of things. Like her notes brushed my hand and she said it. Actually they didn't even touch me they only almost did and she apologized. And she said it when I teased her about something, she apologized and I had to say that I was joking around.

She says thank you a lot too. Like for tiny things that don't merit it, like she lets me borrow a pen, I use it, give it back and she's the one that says thank you. Doesn't make much sense she acts quite different from other girls I've met who actively tease me and try to be rude to be funny (which it is I mean it's playful). She seems to say sorry and thank you a lot.

Why is she like that?

I have a lot of people say that about me. That sounds a little self conceited, I know XD but she's just saying that because she was raised by her parents that way. Unlike other girls, she was brought up to be more polite. At times it maybe annoying, but it's just how she thinks she should act.

I'm sorry, but, :D when you returned her pen she thanked you for returning it, unlike some people who borrow stuff and never return them.

she's just being polite dude, I do that too. usually cause I don't want to cause anyone any trouble.

Not saying there's anything wrong with that, just if a girl is apologizing a lot, I question how confident she is. What would you think of a guy who apologized a lot?

Lower confidence than someone who doesn't apologize unless it's something big. But shyness is kinda cute for girls so.

ugh, there is a girl like that in my school, she has no personality at all, just says sorry all the time :P I wish she would just relax and not worry about stuff so much

i find people who lack confidence are usally the ones apolagizing for everything. my friend has no confidence and apolagizes for the smallest things

I have no idea why someone is like that. They're just brought up like that I suppose.

I do that a lot too. When I say thank you when I get a pen back it's usually because I'm thanking them for not stealing it! Plus I don't want to be rude.
