Been casual dating boyfriend for about two years and made it official in December. I haven’t met any of his friends or family, had plans to twice but somehow didn’t go through. I asked was he ashamed of me, he would say no. He would pretend that he was insulted y that I didn’t invite him some places and I would say ok come and he would have an excuse. Note, he met my father and sister before because one of his friends is my sister fiancé. But now we are a thing he seems to avoid it. Am I overreacting?

Maybe he just gotten used to the fact that you guys were so casual for so long so he didn't think there was an expectation for you to meet his friends/family? But now that you guys are official then why is he still acting like he's hiding you... red flag alert
