What would you do if your partner got a job with night duty?

You were in love and after marriage he/she got a job with night duty. What would you do? How would you react?

I think it depends on what type of job it was. My hope would be that the job would lead to better prospects in the near future for a day job that would allow us to spend more time together instead of time apart. Seems like an important conversation to have for the situation gets too challenging.

Suppose if he is a pharmacist. He'll have to work for years, shifting day and night. Yeah you won't be always alone at night. But still, will be alone 2 or 3 days a week, for years.

Because my girlfriend is a pharmaceutical student and night duty is a deal breaker to me.

Couple of very close friends are pharmacists. After a few years they were able to get better hours. If she’s worth it, I would consider being patient. I bet she misses you too :-)
