I swear to God women here is America are such suckers for relationships and commitments. they think one night of sex is an automatic precursor to a relationship and disregard if whether that guy is relationship material or not.where I'm originally from in the other hand is the total opposite. I'm from Dominican Republic and down there you can hookup with a woman for one night or even be her fuck buddy for a week or two yet they still won't just automatically claim that you are their boyfriend. most of them will even persuade you to keep your mouth shut and not tell anyone you and her are in a relationship and until they know you are again worthy of a relationship.I also been on this site fore almost 12 years and whenever I used to ask questions about hooking up in the past it always seems like the foreign female members of this site were the ones who didn't mind embracing their single life. not trying to point fingers or anything but I always noticed that they were from Australia, I remember locking horns with one because I just couldnt believe how different her views towards a relationship were compared to that of a typical American woman.till then why what exactly is the reason behind this? is this all the Disney movies and soap operas we watch?

Biologically, its oxytocin and the risk of getting pregnant. When you have sex, it releases oxytocin that encourage emotional attachment and bonding. Also, the pregnancy risk and the last thing a woman wants is to get knocked up by someone who is not going to be around to help her take care of the kid. So, they aim for commitment. However, immature women don’t know how to properly strategize for commitment, which is withholding sex until a substantial commitment is made first.

I strongly agree! In grew up with Pakistani/Indian friends and in their culture the title of 'Girlfriend' doesn't exist. Obvious it does now in 2022 but still. Either a man claims you fully or nothing at all. He has to go though so many hurdles and rope to have a woman. 90% meaning marriage unless there's a reason they can't get married. boyfriend/girlfriend relationships are actually frowned upon. But over here it baffeling to see women running after men and accepting the bare minimum. All this feminism yet such low self esteem. It's embarrassing sometimes. I honestly can't give my everything to a man, unless he does the same. In the west, we ask for scraps. Get scraps. Then get upset.
I've been married and single and although they both have their pros and cons, I have to say being single is better. And I'm an American. But I think most women are like you say I think in stems from being read the tales of Cinderella, sleeping beauty, etc so we all start early dreaming about our knight in shining armor. Then a we get older and knights are like unicorns they grab on to anyone because they don't want to feel undesirable and that they don't want to be alone.

The difference is that "foreign" women; which I am going to assume means old world women since foreign doesn't say much, are more in touch with their femininity and inspire commitment as opposed to compelling it.
Yes, I was also a victim of the hooey they feed us North American women. I've dialled it all back and I have never felt better. Now it's more a matter of choosing which type of committment I will take as opposed to any sort of commitment.
