Thanks!!

Also I don’t care much myself about the height diff overall I’d like us both to be similar in height not too much talker or shorter but shorter is not a deal breaker — asking for a friend 😊 🙏🏼

all my relationships were as serious, and as meaningful, deep and fulfilling because of the many aspects that are truly relevant and important, other than the height...
it made no difference with my ex-gf that was around 5′ 2″ to my other ex-gf that was as tall as 5′ 8″ nor was a significant difference with the ones in between around five/four or five/six...
was not different either from other two girls I almost got into a relationship with... one was around 5′ 3″ while the other was 5′10″
so in my very specific case, personally... it doesn't matter to me what their height is as I don't really have a particular preference, I really like people either way
as for the girlfriends... only two of them (out of six girls) expressed at some point to prefer guys that are on the taller side... and they were the ones at the mid-range of height,. not the taller nor the shorter girls
none of them ever expressed any dislike for shorter guys, as far as I know, anyway
Not an issue at all. There are many things that factor into attraction. Height isn't a big thing.
That being said, I'm 6'2" and I doubt if any of my girlfriends were taller than 5'6". The shortest was 5'2". She was my physical ideal from head to toe. My wife is 5'5".
I do have to admit a particular fondness for short, slender (not skinny or lean) girls.
Then why didn't you marry the 5'2 girl? Height isn't a big thing yet you're describing your physical ideal as being 5'2. I'm guessing 5'5 is too tall for you despite the fact that you're 6'2.
@Purplehaze33. I practically lived with that lady for over a year. Her name was Petra. I absolutely adored her and wound up loving her with my heart and soul and she loved me. But alas, a lifetime together wasn't meant to be. The reasons we separated are to hard to explain, but it had nothing to do with cheating or meanness.
It took me a year to pull myself together after our separation. Once I did, I joined a (pre-internet) dating service and went on several dates with beautiful women. One of them turned out to be my match.
I said in my original comment that there are many things that factor into attraction. Height is low on the list. So is hair and color. Those fantasy physical ideals are rather meaningless.
My wife and I have been happily married now for over 25 years. I love her more every day.
Petra contacted me through Facebook about 20 years after I had seen her last. We even spoke a few times on the phone. It was wonderful to hear her voice. She was living out of state. I was just glad to be in touch and to know that she was happy.
About five years later, I read that she had died from a sudden medical problem. I was devastated. There is a hole in my heart that will never heal. I will always love and will never forget her. And that doesn't diminish the love I have for my wife.
Oh wow, that escalated quickly, sorry to hear about your loss. I mean its good that you spent time with that person and have memories of them. Its good to look back at them, i'm sure she appreciated the time you had with her. Its also nice to share memories with your current SO. Some tall guys literally don't even consider women that are like above 5'3 or 5'4 because they aren't "short" but its good you can look past that.
I'm a white girl. I'm 4'11" with natural pure platinum blonde hair longer than I am tall and the bluest lightest brightest eyes and have always always loved very tall very dark sexy black men. The taller and darker the better. I'm married to and have kids with a very dark sexy black man who is well over 7' tall.
This is so fake lol
@Purplehaze33 Not fake at all. You're obviously just jealous.
No i'm not jealous lol. The amount of men way over 7 feet is extremely low
Also given the fact that you always describe yourself in all your comments yet you always have your profile picture blurred out. Another sign of being fake. Literally less than probably like 0.9% possible even lower of men are over 7'0 in the whole world.
"About 2800 people in the world are 7 feet tall or taller. Considering that the world population is approximately 7.4 billion people, this means that the percentage of 7 footers is 0.000038%. This incredibly small percentage of people explains why they are extremely sought for in the NBA." You're attempt at trolling is terrible. 2800 people in the whole world are 7 feet or taller. The fact that your husband is 7'6 makes him easily one of the rarest human beings on this Earth, completely fake.
You have saved this paragraph right 🙂 @hotpinkdominatrxslut
I'm currently in a serious relationship with someone a bit shorter than me, which is definitely different for me (when it comes to guys, I mean) as I've only dated guys taller than me but had only one girlfriend who was shorter than me. Size doesn't matter to me no more.

I am 5' 9" and most of my relationships have been with women who were 5' 0" to 5' 2". I have dated one woman who is as tall as me. I have pursued two women who were taller than me but both rejected me because of my height.
Vivant I am completely okay with that. Which is a good thing because at my height it's a near certainty that I'm going to be taller than a woman I'm with. But on the flip side I wouldn't exclude from consideration a woman who was taller than me simply based on her height. And I'm 6' 3".
😀😊🙋♂️
Am the only one who doesn't see height as such an issue? Unless your like an amazon or a midget I don't really care honestly. I think its fucking stupid to put more importance on height than facial features, body type, body size, personality, skills, etc.
Yes because it's a serious relationship after all. You love by heart, not for height. For me in physical aspects the man should be fit (not overweight or underweight). Height doesn't matters.
Why are women (mostly) so obsessed about height? I understand if someone only wants to date fit people, but height is something we are born with. There is no way to train to be higher or lower.
Yeah, like I'm only 159cm anyway, so if they're a bit shorter than me, it's not an issue.
The only deal breaker I have for height is someone way shorter than me, because they'd basically be the size of a toddler at that point.
Of course. And I'd hope other people would, too, or I'm in trouble. 6'2" is taller than most women, but not tall enough for WNBA ladies, so I can't date them (since I'm shorter), so who'd be left for me?
I would be perfectly fine with it. I would even be okay with dating someone taller than me as well.
Honestly height doesn't matter all that much to me. I'm not trying to like virtue signal or some shit. Like if a girl is taller than me (6'2"), that would be kind of a sight to behold tbh. And I mean, models are taller than average so there's that, too.
But then with someone shorter, it's easier to be cuter.
For guys worried about height, remember how short Tom Cruise and Robert Downey Jr are. Also remember that Zendaya is a decent amount taller than Tom Holland.
When I was young and sexy, that was my life.
But something inside me wanted a family
No she is foot shorter, but I once dated a girl that was 6 foot 6 and she became my kink
Every since her, I had a crush on girls taller than me. And I'm 6 foot 4
Keep in mind this was decades ago like the very late 1980s maybe very early 1990s.
I am 5'10 so I don't have much choice with a lot of women if they are gonna be shorter than me lol
As for guys, it's fine too. I want a good personality, not an NBA player.
Yeah as long as they're not as short as my former romantic interest who was literally around 4'10. They'd have to be at least like 5'3 or taller, or else it'd get quite awkward as I'd feel like I'm dating a kid. I actually do prefer taller women, but ideally I'd want a girlfriend who's around my height of 5'10. So my ideal height range for a girlfriend would be 5'5 to 5'8. The tallest I'd probably go for would be 6'3, but I wouldn't truly know until I've tried lol.
i'm 5'0, so 4'11 or shorter is veryyy short for a dude... but i guess if his personality was that good, then sure.
Can you define "that good personality " for me please 🙂
@Aakash_Hangargi intelligent and caring ig, i'm sure there are more required personality traits for me but that's what i c an think of off the top of my head
Probably. It depends on how much shorter he is. Four or five inches is a definite no. An inch shorter - I'm not sure how I feel.
I'm relatively tall. Every woman I've ever dated has been shorter, some close to 12 inches (30 cm) shorter. The height difference is never and issue for me.
As someone thats only 5'2, I really can't see myself going for someone shorter than me. I need to be physically attracted to someone to truly fall in love with them, a guy thats even shorter than me won't cut it.
I don't think so. I can maybe handle him being up to a couple inches shorter if im in regular heels but I don't want to be the large one.
I would not be okay with a shorter SO. I already dated a guy that was 2 inches shorter than me. I didn't mind, but he had such a big hangup about it that his incessant complaining and reminders were a huge turnoff. Never again.
I have only been in one relationship with someone taller than me
and it was more of a fling. Didn't last long. I prefer petite girls
so shorter is what I want.
No. I'm 4ft6. A guy any shorter than me is a no go, to be honest I won't date a guy under 6ft. Love tall guys
@Staximus just find them more attractive
@oh_k789 men love it.
Notice how women are the ones who are height snobs.
With the exception of the clown who obsessed over the idea that if he married a short woman their children would be short, very few men pay attention to a woman's height. I don't.
It would be strange at first, but if he was someone I was interested in, I wouldn’t have refused.
Sure. I'm 5'11, so there are a lot of girls shorter than me
It happens all the time. I've seen at least 2, very happily married height difference relationships. When there's love, there's a way!
What does gender and height have to do with it? I'm fine having a serious relationship with someone shorter than me!!
Ok, please ask your friend why that should make a difference in someone's mind? I don't get it.
Sure. But only if she's not too short.. Like below 5'0".
I'm 6'1" so I insist in it, preferably about 9 to 11 inches shorter than me.
No my height or taller but that's just my preference
My ex-wife was a foot (30 cm) shorter than me, and we were married for 20 years, so YES!
Height is really irrelevant to me. I've been attracted to women as tall as 6'8" or as short as 4'11".
I’m a man and I always date shorter girls than me. I’m 6 foot one
I am taller than my husband , actually I have been taller than most of the men I have been with
Height doesn't bother me. However l, I do hope to be with someone that I won't need to bend my knees to kiss them regularly
My wife is shorter than me. If she were taller it would be a no go.
Yeah I'd be alright with that. I'm pretty tall so dating shorter girls is kinda unavoidable
Yes, I like shorter girlies. There's something about her looking up at me that I find truly intoxicating.
Sure; why not? I'm not as shallow as I used to be. I stopped caring about height when I was like 25.
yup, it make no difference.
Yes. I’m a foot taller than my SO.
Yes, I would date someone Shorter then myself
Lol, I better!
Height has never been a problem for me in any way
I'm 11" taller than my girlfriend so yes
Yes. Height doesn’t matter
I'm 185cm, been with ladies that is 160cm
I'm 6'3" so I kinda have to.
height texture? tf word salad did u just write?
Height doesn't matter to me.
Absolutely. It’s actually normal
The only thing too short is life itself
Yeah I've dated other girls before
i don't really care
yes <text>
I have in the past.
Sure!!
Mmmm, cute
Would love that
