What can I do when my dad has major mood swings?

So I'm 29 stuck at home while on the hunt for marketing jobs down south. Recently he's been having some crazy mood swings and calls me birch. It's hard cause we live in a small house and not only that living in a small town with absolutely nothing to do what so ever

My mom has manic bi-polar which will trigger randomly. Just hide, and if you get forced into a conversation when he's freaking out, just yes him to death, tell him as much of what he wants to hear as you have patience for.

I personally will take ANY reason to leave the house when she gets bad. I'll just leave even if there's nothing to do, park somewhere and go on my phone/laptop.

You just need to remember that when they're like that, they're not thinking rationally and to just do the best you can.

Yes, and it's been getting worse. I'm going to have to find a place for my brother and I to live. We've tried so hard to help her but she takes things too far all the time.

Everyone in my house has had the cops called on them by her and she knows how to act normal when the cops show up. We don't know what to do at this point because asking for help could lead to her losing her job.

My dad is a massive loser I think he fsncies some 30 something girl because she owns a few Airbnb properties and he compares my success with her. I can't wait to leave this house

No just a quick temporary job helping packing the food for the planes better to get away than to put up with this crap at home. Literally a small crumb would set him off so tired of it

He knew he was coming back because I was out living in Canada for 2 years and before that I lived away for uni. Yes he's divorced but that was 20 years ago now and he has a girlfriend Why doesn he do stuff at the weekends with her instead

But she lives about 1.30 away up north he would normally go up to visit. My brother was back last year for a few months and she didn't cone down either

he's not the type of parent to charge rent and he welcomed me to stay until I got a job. So I don't understand all of this poor treatment especially when I help to clean the house etc

Applying for grad jobs instead easy most of my friends have applied for jobs and took them 6 months. I've already suggested working in a shitty factory job but he doesn't let me 🤷‍♀️ also this is the first time I've been home in years...
