To a degree yes. Women protect men in different ways, that men protect us. But we both need each other.

This may have been the case 70 years ago. Now? Women have "civilized" men in to not wanting to have anything to do with marriage or relationships. Hell, most modern women act more like men than men do. Maybe they need to be civilized too.

I think there's an element of truth to the statement, but the statement itself isn't the entire truth. Men can civilise other men given the right milieu, and women can be fierce protectors, as seen in women who lift cars off their kids for instance.

I agree. Men are rash, violent, primal, and instinctive, while women are cunning and complex. We balance each other, make each other whole men have the strength while women have brains. One can't survive without the other.
