Neither that´s the kind of tragedy for the time being because both are genders are better at talking ABOUT each other than actually talking WITH each other. The problem is that because talking is oftentimes online people are less interested in getting to know the other person´s need or opinions but instead people are looking for acknowledgement of their own position and opinion hoping that others would take over their opinion. It´s not a discussion anymore but a throwing around of arguments with everyone feeling they have the right to be entitled to something.
We all want the best for us own in an egoistic manner, I see that same behavior as well without being genuiely in other people´s life and their view on the situation.
I´m not sure maybe dating needs to become some kind of school subject.

Neither gender understands the other. There is a difference though. Women THINK they understand men, which is why they're always trying to change them. Men KNOW they don't understand women and accept them for what they are.

Women, but with two important caveats: first, it's not MUCH better; just a little. And second, women tend to THINK they understand men better than they actually do; men generally know they're pretty much clueless when it comes to women. Not me, though; I'm TOTALLY clueless.

I think the worst is the generalizations. All men are.. All women are.. You walk around town and get to suffer penalties for a rare few select men who 'whatever' to women on TV, or in real life, and oh man, that must be you too, you man! It's.. over and done.

It takes a lot of empathy, research, putting oneself in the other's shoes and compassion to understand another human, let alone and entire gender. Especially since biologically we can only draw from observation and not experience. So I would say both are generally, equally lost in translation. Few really understand lots about the opposite gender. And then many people claim they know and understand when they don't understand shit

Men have to understand women more than women have to understand men. Why? Because men have to learn how to attract women. Women dont have to learn because they don't have pursue. Men have to learn from experiences and with time it helps men learn how the do's and dont's

well I think in general women are better at understanding others, not just men. Probably because they mostly take care of others directly, especially kids which includes seeing boys grow up and develope into men.

Basically it shows a woman trying to get a date for a week posing as a man online. I think it's a very good example of what women think dating is like. But the reality is very different

I think it is women that understand men better. Not because they are more intuitive but because man are not difficult to figure out.

As a general rule I'd say men understand women more than vice-versa. Women aren't really in competition for a man the way men are for a women. So women have less of a need to understand men.
